Water park in Southampton

“Brilliant attraction. Lots of easy but entertaining eco-friendly games and climbing equipment for all ages. Aqua park is fantastic and The Cow for lunch is an absolute cut above the usual theme park fodder. You won’t regret a day spent here - there were 14 of us and everyone loved it.”

“The park is really big and has 4 football ground, 1 basketball court and a skateboard arena. The lake is also full most of the times. It's a good place to take a walk.”

“Not a place to holiday with children, no amusement arcade or swimming pool but if you are looking for a small site with a friendly warden and clean spacious accommodation in a peaceful rural setting then this is the place for you. My only gripe is that there is no shaver socket in the bathroom apart from that it is difficult to find any faults.”

“Lovely area, well maintained for wildlife. Leads into ancient woodland, some coppiced. Plenty of paths and loads of bluebells in spring. Lots of birdlife too. Just lovey and peaceful.”

“A real asset to Eastleigh if you have your kids during the hot summer days. Can get very busy and could do with more shady areas. The pool always seems very clean however and it's free!”

“Before I came to Southampton I rly thought it had beautiful beaches and waves but it turned out to be a port city rather than a seaside city. There's an ice cream truck in the park owned by a very friendly old man. I mean it doesn’t taste like wow but still worth trying.”

“Lovely big enclosed field with water on tap & a water bowl for thirsty pooches, dust bin for dog waste & a bench for the humans. Highly recommend.”

“Went there in autumn. The leaves covering the ground and colours of the trees were mesmerising, but the free roaming horses are what make it a unique place. Simply beautiful and worth the drive.”

“Love it here just walks with the dog or to take the kids .very pretty very quiet great place for taking a pic or two . I have been coming here since i was little so it brings back memories i had with my mum and my family who used to run the place all have pasted on now so just walking through brings up happy memories i had forgotten”

“Beautiful country park, with a great museum (with really helpful staff volunteers), great place to take the dog and for children to play. They had clean toilet facilities and a couple of nice cafés. Plenty of parking too. Dogs are allowed in most places, but not the museum. Parking not cheap, but it goes to the upkeep of the park.”

“Our dogs love it here, fully enclosed so no escapees, our 7 month old springer has a good blow out of energy here with no fear of losing him, he's not quite got recall down yet, but also a good place to teach that, our jack Russell loves meeting other dogs and having freedom to wander.”

“We stayed here for a week. This park is great. Has all the facilities that you need. The shower block is very clean with six separate showers, men and women's toilets again very clean a laundry, washing up facilites and a sluice. It's a mix of caravans and tents, with and electric hook ups. A little shop and cafe. Such a friendly atmosphere, the kids made lots of friends and the usual night time quiet when the kids are in bed. Great site positioned well to explore the area.”

“Great country park with plenty to do for children and walks for dogs. The car park charges are reasonable too, especially all day. The cafe isn't large, but the food is good and everything is kept clean with plenty of space inside and out to sit. We aren't local, but we go here quite often when visiting and have used the Go Ape on a number of occasions. Would recommend.”

“Had a lovely trip to Lepe Country Park. The park is well kept with so much to do for all the family. The beech is very clean, with plenty of space for everyone, care is needed as the currents in the solent can be very strong. The park also boasts area away from the sea with grassed sections for family games and just chilling out. There is also loads of seating available overlooking the solent with views across to the Isle of Wight. There is a new building here with a small souvenir shop and a cafe. The cafe has some amazingly fresh cakes, as well a very tasty menu, for the whole family. The coffee here is great and well worth a try. If you are near the area, give it a go, we will be going again soon, especially on a really hot day, as the breeze was very welcomed.”
