Brighton Park Apartments 360 Bragaw Street, Anchorage, AK 99508

"This apartment complex used to be very nice when we moved in, although the floor plan has never been ideal... However, since 2020, things have gone downhill, and since CIHA no longer manages the property, it's gotten especially bad. The affordability of a 3bd, 2bth apartment at the rate offered is it's only redeeming feature at this point. Our building fire alarms go off at least once a month since last year, and due to this I no longer feel comfortable leaving my young teens at home just in case there's a real emergency. It's really impacting our quality of life, because they could go off at any time! This month it was at 7:30am, but it's happened at 2am... They put a lock on the laundry last year to keep the homeless out, now we have to keep it open so it doesn't get too hot and trigger a fire alarm. In addition, the neighbors smoke in the carport all the time, which comes into the windows during the summer, forcing us to close them. The halls stink of pot, have trash throughout, kids bringing in heaps of leaves and shredding them or just leaving food waste around... No wonder there are mice in the building! Other tenants constantly prop open the secure doors, even since the cold weather has set in, which makes me feel both unsafe and increases heat loss in the winter, to the point where the intercom door no longer opens and closes properly. Our dishwasher has been in broken for 6+ months despite numerous efforts to get the management to perform repairs. In other words, don't be pulled in by the price tag--unless you can't afford to live anywhere else in Anchorage, give this place a pass!"

"If there is more than 5 stars to rate this company I would rate them 10/10 stars. When I first read the reviews I always go for the bad reviews first and I know everyone have their own opinion but I can say that do not take the negative reviews to scare you off from applying at Brighton Park Apartment. The staff is super friendly especially Andy my first time meeting him he was great and very knowledgeable also helpful with during the process of my application. The apartment is clean and hallways are clean even outside of the carport areas. We greatly appreciate the staff. Thank you FPI management. Just note on the side the apartment was bad when it was under a different management I know this because we came here to apply before. Even the other staff before Andy was not having it. I hope FPI will keep this great crew for Brighton Park."
