Motel 6 Anchorage, AK - Midtown

"I’ve stayed here 3 nights thus far. Didn’t get a good nights sleep last night here. Was awoken at 1:30am by someone in the hallway yelling “y’all going to jail”. Was also awoken at 5am by my upstairs neighbor simply walking around normally. Yesterday morning I was awoken by construction noise outside. Walls and doors are thin, you can hear everything. That being said the rooms were clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. No concerns about bedbugs here like some of the independent hotel reviews. Pricing better than some of the more expensive options nearby. I just wish the walls weren’t so thin."

"Lobby stank. The room smelled like cigerettes. Sheets were stained and there was hair in the bed. There was a woman screaming from 2am to 6am and ghe staff did nothing. Worst night. I would have preferred sleeping in my car."

"Very polite staff, front desk & housekeeping we're always beyond helpful. They were very accommodating to all of our needs. They went over and above to help us with our check in, our stay, & our check out. Great location, midtown with many stores & restaurants close by. Would highly recommend this hotel & would stay again."

"I dont what others are complaining about. My room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and quiet. This is a good option for budget travelers. There is no breakfast, but frankly most hotel breakfast these days is marginal. I'd rather have the lower rate."

"Water takes 10 minutes to warm up and then is only warm. No hot shower here. Had a couple bugs crawling on the floor. No shampoo or any other amenities at all. One night stand on one side of the king bed. No breakfast. Pictures online are deceiving. Very small rooms, not enough room for two people with big suitcases. Coke machine was empty. Had someone trying to break into my room at 2:30am. Overall top 5 worst hotel experiences in my 49 years. Pretty terrible first night in Alaska. For $200 a night there are far better options in Anchorage."
