"Edit: Originally, I gave this place 4-stars. However, I must drop the ratings to only 2-stars and that's being generous. 1. The parking lot was slippery and there is nobody controlling ice build-up. 2. The sidewalk is littered with pee stains, and it stinks, gross. 3. I racked up $80 in parking fees because the front desk clerk said that they had "two parking lots and the parking meters on the sidewalk didn't work. None of that was true. 4. Hotel staff reminded me that my check-out time was almost finished 10 minutes before 11. I take accountability for that. However, they threatened to charge me an entire day if I was an hour late...and still would have needed to move out of the room. I wasn't able to extend...which defeats the purpose of living in an "extended stay hotel." Kicking out a weekly renter with company account isn't wise business. Since I "lost the room," I reserved another room. However, they cancelled my reservation after I left, although there were ROOMS (not just one room) available. 5. Every other large dog was dangerous because their owners had no control of them. The constant barking and lunging guests were annoying. 6. At first, I didn't mind but now I'm no longer being polite. The breakfast is garbage; Breakfast was cheap coffee, packaged muffins, granola bars, and NOTHING ELSE. 7. The biggest sin of them all was falsely claiming that my room had a kitchen and stove. They should be sued,,,"
"Both me and my sister are elders, she's 84 and I'm 67, we asked for a coffee pot at check in time, and was told there is none. On Sunday we saw a cleaning cart with a coffee pot and stated we would like one, they gave us one but this is 5 days without a coffee pot. We still don't have TV service, no laundry soap or dryer sheets to buy, and we've been here 1 week, no one cleaned our room, we don't drink or smoke and it's like we're in a shabby looking room, discrimination is a possibility as we are native."
"Booked only for the simple fact they stated it had a pool. The pool was out of order. There is no entrance from the parking lot to the lobby doors because they have them locked at all times with no key card access. They unfortunately are not “liable” to care for the sidewalks that surround the building, so they do not see it as their responsibility to keep them free from ice and snow buildup. I was carrying my 3 year old in one arm and slips on the sidewalk trying to get to the lobby doors and hit directly on my elbow. As I was there with just my 3 kids and myself, I could not go to the ER and get it checked out until I got home. My arm is severely bruised and my whole upper body hurts like I have whiplash. I informed the front desk several times that it needed to be salted and it never happened. I was informed the next morning of the legality of it but I still asked “How do you expect your guests to get to your lobby without getting hurt?” Her response was that she didn’t know. I left several messages for the manager to contact me while I was there and when I left and have yet to hear anything. I would like someone to call me over this matter because I don’t feel that just the Municipality is the only persons at fault here."
"Location: convinient. Close to many great retails in Anchorage Rooms: poor housekeeping - the room, towels & sheets smelled like fish Customer Service: poor. The assistant manager Carol Terry was hostile handling our reservation. We met her energy addressing her poor customer service skills in resolving our matter but she continued to speak and treat us as if we were an inconvinience for her to do her job at the check- in counter - we are not from the slums, we are both US Armed service members that travel frequently and intended to stay longer at your lodging because of the convenient location but we decided not to due to our negative experience with her management skills."
"Nice location & our host most of the time I noticed was Michael. Breakfast was coffee, muffins & oatmeal. Coffee was OK but if you're going out I'd get something better. Rooms were nice enough. Was nice to have on site laundry but the dryers weren't the greatest. Would stay again though."
