"Do not live here. I had the misfortune of living here for 2 years. It’s an unsafe and dirty apartment complex. Building 5410 has mice. They do the bare minimum to manage snow. It takes days for plowing to happen. No one picks up after their dogs. The hallways have bad, musty smell. When I moved out, they charged me 1.5 times rent the last month and are refusing to correct their mistake."

"I lived at Alpine for a couple years and overall its quiet but Ive had my share of the people above me whose kids were always loud and some nights you would hear things all night. My neighbors always kept to themselves. You never knew how the stairways would smell or turn out daily because theyre carpetted and there was always a bad smell. The backdoor had screws poking out and sometimes wouldnt lock because they’re worn out. The front door is always broken. For the shootings that occured there this past year was a surprise because even the neighboring buildings were quiet for the most part when Id walk my dog. Beware of other dogs because there is so many that pop outta no where and many that were aggressive towards my dog. Theres poop constantly even tho management for the most part always were good about replenishing doggy bags. Id say my major complaint is the mice! I lived on the 3rd floor (2nd floor because of the basement) and constantly had mice all the time even tho I tried to keep clean and had a covered trash they still came in (I even had put glue boards and traps everywhere all the time) and it was embarrassing for me and it got to the point where I just was too upset and sent letters and trying to explain to the staff that it was overwhelming and they stated that they even had to relocate a family because of them. I didnt have an appetite when Id see em because they always came from the kitchen and I pretty much barracaded myself in my room because it was disgusting and tiring! We’d wake up and see 1-2 of them dead in traps. They did have an exterminator but only one time and then the next time they had maintenance come and just set up traps. Id have to make my dogs beware of them and that was another headache because there was so many set up. My friends had decent apartments that were in rougher areas that never had this issue! I didnt have anymore respect for the staff because they ignored emails and I jus was too upset to even notify them anymore about the same issues constantly. To me, its disgusting and the staff just ignores it and I had spent alot of money just buying embarrassing traps and glue traps all the time. Also, there is carpet beetles all the time that eat your clothing and got me to where I had to buy plastic totes for my clothing. They also charged me upon leaving for the blinds that were always falling apart everytime you opened em and be aware they’ll get you for carpet cleaning reguardless of the condition for your security deposit."

"Do not move here. I cannot stress enough how awful this place is. If you like having responsive management, a safe place to live, and a clean environment, this is not the place for you. There have been multiple shootings here, including one that lead to the tragic death of our apartment manager. It’s not affordable, and it’s unsafe. I’m glad I no longer live here."

"This has been my home for the past 5 years. This place is perfect. The rent is reasonable. The management staff is top-notch. The maintenance staff is quick to respond issues. I like that you can put in a maintenance request online and within 24 hours, you get a response. The neighbors are diverse and really kind. I'd recommend this place highly!"
