"Love, Love this hotel. I’ve stayed here several times.yes the building is old but that is part of the experience. The bathroom is what you need. I will continue to stay there."
"beautiful hotel, good continental breakfast, located in the heart of downtown so you can walk pretty much anywhere. on a side note, the photo looking down the hallway appears to have a reflection of a man but no one standing there...."
"This hotel is historic, which is a point in its favor. The staff are helpful and it’s a great location, close to the railroad depot and restaurants, but it is old and run down. Could use some TLC. It seemed overpriced, but I’m open to considering that it’s just the end of the season."
"Beautiful little historic hotel here in Anchorage. It's known for hauntings and that's why we chose it for my 16 year olds sweet sixteen birthday. We did have a few odd things happen, but nothing too crazy, unfortunately. It's walking distance to many great areas of downtown, including the coastal trail. I highly recommend staying here."
"Every single staff member is friendly and informative. Great location downtown with many amazing restaurants to eat within walking distance. Beds are extremely comfortable, mini fridge, glassware and basic toiletries are stocked in the room with housekeeping daily. If you’re a light sleeper I suggest bringing ear plugs if you’re staying towards the weekend, weekdays are pretty quiet. No microwave or hair dryer, but I was told microwaves can be requested. The hotel is historic so do not book this space if you’re expecting new construction that looks historic. Breakfast in the morning has decent choices like cereal, eggs/sausage, pancakes and yogurt. Parking is about a half block away and is about $18/day, I prefer public transportation but for downtown parking that’s pretty affordable. The building has its quirks but overall it’s a comfortable, clean space to stay in with friendly staff."
