"I read the last review of this place and literally laughed out loud.. I lived here for 5 years and moved from here about a year and a half ago and never once had an issue the whole time I was there. I was in an abusive relationship and was going through a lot at one point while I was there and they were so understanding and accommodating when they didn't have to be. Mary in the office is one of the sweetest human beings I have ever known.. I will say it is loud there as far as if you live under somebody you're going to hear every single thing they're doing.. the walls are paper thin and you'll have those neighbors that have no respect for others and that's a little rough but I will also say that the office is very helpful in those situations if it's a true life interference/disturbance. People tend to forget this is low income housing it's not the Ritz-Carlton.. I will be forever eternally grateful for this complex because it is the place that allowed me to escape the abuse I was in and provided me with a safe place for my kids and I.. a large majority/mostly all of people here are not paying market rent and are subsidized housing paying as little from nothing a month to a couple of hundred so for so many people to complain about nonsensical things is baffling.. if you are looking for a place to transition your life to becoming self sufficient this place is great.. dont let the negative reviews deter you"
"This place has become more and more run down over the past ten years. I heard from older people it used to be pretty decent. I have seen more and more violence and crime. The managing of this place is terrible. Some times they give notice when they are going to do inspection and it will be a very short notice between 12-72 hours. Some times you don't get the notice. You can tell them several times to let you know when they are going to come in and fix things but they never show up when they say they will and will just come into your room to fix things while you are sleeping. I woke up to a man I have never met messing with my door and it scared the hell out of me. Another time a team of men I never met came marching in my door without notice to check the hot water heater. They told everyone they would put us in condos while they do construction and that we would get plenty of notice. Then they started sending out bribes for $400 to residents if they move in with family and then $500 bribes. No one has anyone to stay with other wise we would def not be here. They started construction without notice at 7:30 in the morning on our roofs waking up everyone to them slamming heavy what ever on the roof. Its so bad my walls ceiling and floor are shaking. I have had things fall off my walls. My animal has been shaking in fear for its life. They throw things from the roof into the walk way. where people below are walking to get in and out of there apartments. Its a huge safety concern. I don't know if its true but would not surprise me a couple of residents told me the construction team even stole a little old ladies handicap parking spot to park there sports car. I cant see in the fence that's blocked with green mesh to confirm and I'm not going to go up to it. That's sad if that is true. What is true is many residents are applying to apartments else where."
"First and foremost, this place has been up and down the 6 years I've lived here, but ever since we got old management out of here and got Kenzi and Mary, in the office this place has turned around so much that I actually enjoy coming home every day because they make sure stuff gets done around here and that the property looks the part. I've never had a office duo better than those two. They are awesome and make sure you are taken care of and I love the smoke free living, Secondly, I see all the bad reviews and I read through all of them and literally laugh... because they are the dumbest thing I have seen for reviews in my life, and they must have no followed the rules or done something to get the reaction or what not they got. That's life and you shouldn't be complaining about the Office doing their job! This is a great place to live now that Mary and Kenzi have been here, property is clean and repairs get made fairly quick now!"
"I lived here for 2 years. The apartments are old and there's no way around that, but the staff were AMAZING. Tommy, Mary and the crew of maintenance men were always there to help any way they could. It was my first home as a single mom and I'll always look back on it fondly as a safe place during a very tumultuous time in my life."
"We have lived here for six years. Within the last two years the management has changed, and they are absolutely amazing! Heidi and Tommy are amazing to work with! Before all the new changes we were planning to leave as soon as we could. But since Heidi and Tommy are helping improving the quality of life here, and are happy to call this apartment our home!"
