"DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY BUT HORRIBLE MANAGMENT. I lived there for over 2 years. They will nickle and dime you for everything. They only care about money. Please read all these recent reviews and see they are all the same. MANAGMENT IS HORRIBLE!"
"BEWARE! Management (TEC management) company is SHADY! They will make every attempt to over charge, falsely charge and force the tenants to pay for repairs that are not the responsibility of the tenant. Overall they ANTI-customer. The property itself looks nice, and you may want to rent here, but DONT, the Management Company (TEC Management) will make you regret your choice. They categorically don't care about the renters."
"Originally I posted a 5 star review for the application process and good communication. I've lived here since Late July. It's only been 4 months and I've already had nothing but communications issues with office, maintenance request needed and the cherry on top of it all.... their payment system. Their 3rd party vendor they use to pay rent made an error on their end which resulted in a return check fee because they didn't update their system on their end after 3 WEEKS notice of a new bank account. So, with that said, I get charged fees from my old bank, but also fees from the property management. I tried disputing this fee and of course, they refused to waive it. I've just found out, that they are charging me a late fee every day since without notification. NOW I am charged $300 in fees for a $20 fee that had not been paid for something that wasn't my fault to begin with! I am so disappointed in their system, lack of communication and no accountability for their own vendor's mistake."
"I love the actual home. Quality, size, location and garage are awesome. Management is awful and they are completely discriminatory despite saying they are equal housing! I've never had issues and always pay my rent on time if not early (with one exception where I called and spoke with them about in advance.) I'm a single mom of 4 kids and when I requested a housing exception to allow my assistance animals, it took multiple contact attempts from me and almost a month and a half to respond to my request. Despite my medical, signed documentation proving everything. (Pets are even allowed here with a deposit, so I didn't think it would be an issue.) Within a couple weeks of them finally approving my assistance animals, they gave me a notice that I would have to vacate within 60 days. My initial lease had stated that after the year it would become month to month. They extended my neighbors lease at a higher rate the same week, but did not give me that option. They also have pets but pay more for them. After this, they also gave me a notice claiming to have to do their semiannual inspection on my home; yet, none of my neighbors had to do this at all. This was the first time they've done this. They also refused to reschedule this. I follow all of their rules and lease obligations, pay on time, keep my home clean and organized and ensure we are good neighbors. Yet, we get kicked out because we have a disability and I'm a single mom with kids! They don't even allow the kids to ride their bikes or scooters on the sidewalk. I had no plans to leave and the month to month ability after my 1 year was up was a large part on why I chose this place to live! Now with the market as it is, we cannot find ANYTHING to rent. TEC Management says that if we are still here after noon the day before the first of the month, that we will have to pay an entire month's rent without proration. This is after they have added about $300+ to my rent every single month for whatever they please at the time."
"Management has no communication. I called to check about a 3 day notice that I found on the third day laying in my welcome mat. They refuse to contact me. However, They post another note on my door without trying to notify me. Management knew I needed to talk them to resolve this issue. I never heard back from managers when I request to speak with them. They're passive aggressive with their tenants. This company cares about money. I wouldn't move in here because you're left in the dark. I wouldn't recommend this place because the management are rude. My neighbor that moved in even wanted to avoid moving in because of their management."
