"Worst management practices I’ve ever encountered. The apartment is nice, but management enters apartments without permission and changes rules frequently, parking lot and amenities are way too small for the number of residents, and you pay at least $100 over rent each month for various fees I’ve never experienced at another apartment. It’s obviously very corporate and sleazy. Would not recommend. Update: of course they say they want to speak on a public forum, but when you actually try to speak to them, they won’t answer any questions or put anything in writing. So shady"

"Moda has been a great place to live! My husband and I have been here for one year and we love it. Management is so responsive and the property is extremely well kept. Work out facilities are awesome as are the resident events. And of course, the neighborhood is amazing!"

"I'm about a week and a half into my lease at Moda. Move-in was a breeze: the office got me all set up with my keys, the lease paperwork was all completed online, so it took about five minutes to get access to the apartment. Doors and entryways are all nice and wide, so moving in furniture was fairly easy. I'm in one of the smallest units, but I was able to get everything set up so it feels roomy enough for me. The finishes are all very nice, I love the kitchen cabinets and the sliding doors. The outdoor pool is great- I haven't had the chance to use it during the day, but it is so relaxing to go sit out there for a while before bed and listen to the water running. Appliances are all new, the building seems clean and quiet. I've recently learned that they sometimes give out free drinks for happy hours on Thursdays. I plan to stop by one soon to see what it's all about!"

"Neighbors from all over The Hill have contacted Moda with concerns that continue to go unaddressed. Moda tenants, Moda’s contracted construction company Holland, and the machinery operators continue to block a fire lane leading to multiple residential properties. Today it took ten minutes for them to get one piece of equipment moved. It was 7:30 in the morning. Of course each time the fire lane gets blocked, no one is at Moda to offer assistance. Not only were they blocking a fire lane but they also had the equipment IN our yard. Get it together Moda. Start worrying about more than your google reviews."

"I have contacted Moda twice and spoke with the manager. Moda residents continue to park in the drive that leads to our alley. Their movers refuse to move when blocking the whole drive. This morning we woke up to this….. thank goodness for once they didn’t block the whole drive. What if we needed the fire department to get through? Since the biggest concern is google reviews, I hoped this might elicit help from Moda…. This drive is not a saint Louis city street and it is not owned by moda. It is part of McBride homes."
