"It has cockroaches It has cold breakfast only have waffles. No hot breakfast. Please don’t fool yourself. Front clerk argue with me about extra towels told me I had to turn in my old towels to get new towels before I head. I need extra towels and extra towels."
"I'm disgusted at this place. I thought since it was on my job's perks discount website and the location is Westport Plaza area of St Louis, that it would he a wonderful place. From the homeless people sleeping on the side parking lot, to the roaches crawling in the breakfast lounge - bathrooms- and everywhere, I was sick! Top it off I was locked into a non refundable stay so when the hotel rooms above us had raw sewage leaking from their toilet into ours, I had no choice but to go to another room! My son who is disabled had 2 seizures, and I could not get a refund from my work perks discount website because the hotel knows that all these horrible conditions exist and only sell nonrefundable stays!!! Do not waste your money, spend $10-20 more per night and stay somewhere else in peace. We were already in the middle of a housing crises waiting on our new place, this just made us almost despair."
"Honestly probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. And I travel a lot. My bar is fairly low for an overnight stay just to rest my head when driving cross country. But we arrived and the deadbolt was almost ripped off our door, pubic hair in the bed stains everywhere and light didn’t work. They did switch our rooms but it wasn’t any better. Stained lamp. Bed was cleaner but still lots of stains. Couldn’t have ever used the comforter. Glad I brought my own blanket. Front desk staff were very lovely and accommodating tho!"
"We had a very long, arduous day and were looking forward to resting. Upon our arrival, we were told to pull around to our entry door that was broken. After climbing up the stairs to our second floor room and bringing all of our bags in, my daughter started to put our things away. When she opened the top drawer of the busted up TV stand/ drawers with no TVin it, she screamed. There was a dead cockroach in the drawer. After I started looking around, I noticed that the floor was sticky and stained all over. There was leftover food at the top of the microwave and splattered on the wall behind it, black mold on the ceiling in the shower, rusted out bathroom fixtures, and a blood stain on our blanket, among other mystery stains on our bedding. It was just filthy. I literally cried because I was dealing with a family emergency for a few days and just wanted to get some much needed rest. Instead, I had to go and talk with management, who gave me keys for a different room. My 12 year old and I walked up to see it before moving our bags, and it was equally as filthy minus the dead cockroach. I then took my new keys back down in tears, at which time the front desk clerk said that I should just stay for the night and cancel the following night which we already paid for. I felt defeated. I had no energy to argue or move again, so that's what we did. My money has still not been credited back to my card. I would NOT recommend staying here."
"First problem with this hotel was that the first room I was given hadn't been cleaned. The bed was unmade and the room felt like someone had just left 5 minutes before I arrived. The next issue was that hotel says that it is a smoke free building, but I can't see how that is possible since there is a strong smell of smoke in the whole building. The smell permeated the sofa so bad that my clothes smelled of smoke after I left. And the smoke alarm in my room was gone so I think people have been smoking there rather recently or they dont care about guest safety at all. Finally, the "breakfast" consisted of waffles that you make yourself from overly thinned out batter to muffins or donuts. No bread for toast, no cereal, no milk, no protein. I find better breakfast options at gas stations than they had. If it weren't for the fact that I didn't want to find a new hotel for the night I would have not stayed and demanded a refund for the night as it was one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had."
