"One of the WORST hotels we've ever been to. We stayed here for Monster Jam. We had to change rooms 3 times! Both the first rooms the thermostats were broken and the rooms were over 80 degrees. The second room the bathroom counter was damaged along with the thermostat blowing 90-100 degree air constantly. Front desk women cussed out my wife and brought her to tears. There was no manager on duty for night shift. We finally got into a half way decent room after the third try by 1:20 a.m. and my kids were exhausted. Worst Holiday Inn ever. I'm sure I'm forgetting some things also, but over all absolutely terrible. Wouldn't even recommend to my worst enemy. Hotel needs to be destroyed and rebuilt from scratch with all new crew and updated rooms."

"The front desk people were AWESOME. They accommodated us all. Room was very clean. Had a great time. The only thing was, there was no coffee creamer, and no hot chocolate....but other than that, it was great!"

"This place sucks. Was here for 11 nights while working a conference, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences in all my time of traveling for events. First of all, half the rooms face inwards at the pool. This means that it’s loud and there isn’t any natural light except for a couple dirty skylights. The elevators are slow and make scary sounds. Be prepared to wait 4-5 minutes, despite there being three elevators. It’s a crapshoot whether or not you’ll actually get housekeeping. Some people I travelled with had service daily, but several of us had it stop after one or two nights. When I called the front desk to ask about it, they seemed appalled that I’d even expect housekeeping at all. Apparently you have to fill out a housekeeping request form before 8am to request it, but that isn’t mentioned when you check in. I filled out the form, and came back that evening to two laundry bags of fresh linens tossed by my door. Other days I filled it out, nothing happened. Heat didn’t work in my room. Thermostat didn’t do anything, and the comforter is thin. Coworkers I travelled with arrived to 80°+ rooms, and the front desk wouldn’t help them. The age of the place is pretty visible. The whole building is pretty run-down. Pool is murky. Doors are tough to close. Rooms are dark and depressing. Several lamps in my room didn’t work or were burnt out. Wiring by the power strip next to the bed was damaged. Other reviews say the rooms have microwaves - mine didn’t, and some coworkers who stayed here didn’t have refrigerators. Would recommend staying literally anywhere else!"

"We only stayed one night but will absolutely stay there again when we are back in St Louis. The rooms were very clean and the rest of the hotel was nice and clean as well. Every single employee we encountered were extremely nice and helpful, the front desk clerk, the housekeeper, the server in the restaurant when we had breakfast, even the maintenance personnel were all so nice. They all made our short stay enjoyable."
