"Great location for a good view. Could hear cars all night though (not hotels fault). A few of the staff members were kind of rude when asked questions. Over all it was a great hotel and will be back if we have any other downtown activities."

"Fantastic location within walking distance of the arch and clean rooms. Front desk unfriendly. The maintenance and cleaning staff as well as the breakfast crew was friendly and helpful. But the front desk was unfriendly. Even when we would say hello or good morning they responded but not in a friendly way both morning and evening even when they were not busy. The strange thing was when they were talking amongst themselves they were laughing and smiling. It’s unfortunate as it makes the guest feel unwelcome."

"Made a quick trip to St. Louis in the middle of January and stayed at this Hampton near the Arch. Excellent location within walking distance to the Arch, the metro, and lots of great eateries. Very good customer service with friendly employees. The hotel has a convenient covered drive to pull your car in while you check in. The check in process was fast and easy. Parked in their parking garage, which I didn't realize when I made the reservation was $30/day. Room view was good. Great view of the Arch from the pool. Room itself was fine. Bathroom lacked a working vent fan and the tub didn't drain well. Breakfast was fine too -- generic hotel breakfast, but it did have hot eggs, oatmeal, sausage or bacon, etc."

"First off we booked two rooms as we went on a family vacation. Room was great till about 3am and we woke up to bed bugs in the room. They said they were moving us to a different floor and reimbursing us for 1 room for the entire stay. It's been almost a month still no reimbursement. Plus they said they were going to add points to our honors account and still again nothing."

"The walls are paper thin. We can hear neighbors to right, the left and above us fluah the toilet. There is no microwave in the room. Parking is $30 a day. The bed is comfy and the room seems clean. Located on the edge of downtown and the breakfast room is clean and has good variety."
