"Overall had a decent stay. The hotel itself is gorgeous to explore, has lots of history, and tons of amenities. The bar is fantastic and had impeccable service from our bartenders. Fabulous location, close to lots of entertainment and restaurants. The main issue I had was with the front desk service and the overall cleanliness of our room. There was hair all over the bathroom floor and heavily stained linens. Front desk service was very mediocre and not very helpful during check-in/during the stay. Needed a new comforter because the one in our room was stained. Asked through the courtesy text they send but received no answer. Then called front desk to request and they said they would get us some new linens but we never got them. Not a stickler usually about these things, but just was expecting a little more out of the service since the stay was $200+/night and at a Hilton downtown hotel."
"I recently traveled to this hotel for several days of corporate meetings. While at the hotel our company utilized the meeting rooms for breakfast, lunch and dinner that was all cooked and prepared by hotel kitchen staff. The meals were all delicious. The room was clean, bathroom was small but big enough to take care of those needs. I did use the hotel fitness center. There is plenty of equipment to get in a great workout from cardio to weight lifting. In general a well preserved 100+ year old facility."
"If I could rate 4.75 stars, I would for one small reason: the WiFi was tragically slow to non-functional. That's my only complaint. This place is immaculately clean, like, hospital clean. Comfortable, nicely appointed rooms. Phenomenal service from every staff member I encountered. I was there with a business group and the provided meals were great. Meeting room was perfect for us."
"Reggie at the front desk was a great guy and very friendly, but some of the other staff not so much. When I went to check out in the morning I waited 15 minutes for someone to arrive, the phone ringing, and only got help because another staff member came by and saw the line of a dozen people waiting and radioed her, which then she appeared from right behind the corner immediately. The rooms are comfortable and the showers have good pressure and temperature, but the events going on in the hotel and nearby can be heard easily, and music was being blasted until late in the night from the ferris wheel nearby. Many of the doors have problems opening as well, which causes some major irritation. For the price, I expected better, and would likely seek somewhere else to stay before choosing this hotel again."
"We had a wonderful time. Started out with Miss Ogden checking us in. She was kind and knowledgeable. The room was spotless, coffee and tea available in the room. The handicapped shower was a great help in our stay. Every employee we ran into was friendly and seemed happy to see us. It was great having the fire show at the water feature, light show in the ballroom and aquarium within walking distance of our room they were highlights of our visit. The Glow was less than 15 min away."
