"Love the actual apartment. But there are too many unsatisfactory things to mention. I have actually lived in worse places. Not many. For the price, I would live somewhere else. I think Home Forward should do a complete audit and inventory here. Hopefully their contract runs out soon. Maybe HF will be able to get better management next time, not just the lowest bidder."
"I'm a victim of Harassment and Assault 4. This has been going on for 5 months and management isn't doing anything to get rid of the problem. I've been reporting to management and they've been doing whatever to help me. Just the other day, my neighbor A206 told me that I deserved it, (to get hurt). Yes, he hit me in my face and he threatened to throw me down the stairs. I pressed charges against A206 for Assaulting me and Harassing me, ( Verbal Harassment and Abuse)."
"Horrific. Glass everywhere in the grass. Kids intentionally break it to try and injure the dogs. Kids killing and torturing squirrels, allowed by mgmt. Women being victimized by children. One woman had her sliding door shattered. Another developmentally disabled man had kids break into his house and beat him up. Just yesterday, 2 kid who have been destroying things here for YEARS slashed 4 tires of a terminally ill elderly woman's car that belonged to her dead son. She caught it on camera and the new landlord says they can't do anything. They throw rocks at cars every day, key cars, egg the apartments, break windows and they're allowed to do it while their parents get high inside all day. One little boy screams at Black families just sitting outside to relax, calling them N words over and over. They can't even sit at the picnic benches and at this point, it's management sanctioned racism and violating fair housing laws. Most dogs aren't on leashes and will attack your dog, with zero recourse. One lady's dog has been attacked 4 times. I work for a non profit and I am helping residents pursue this legally because it's insane that Home Forward is allowing their LOW INCOME RESIDENTS to be victimized over and over. You're a non profit too - you should be advocating for a safe space for marginalized people. Shame on you. Update - 07/23 getting worse. It's become a shanty town. Broken Windows, dogs beings abused, drug dens with weird shanties made out of garbage on their patios.. The ONLY good thing is the armed security all night but they're only two guys covering a huge complex. The other night, a woman sat on my stairs smoking fentanyl for hours. You had to pass her to get inside, because she wouldn't move. Finally I told her people had to use these stairs and she had to go. I gave her time then came out later to a pile of garbage in ashes. She lit the stairs on fire.."
"I lived in these apartments for two years till I moved out of state in 2019. Management were very nice, except for one I cant remember her name?. I had my grandchildren living with me and there was never any issue about them as well. When ever we had a maintenance issues it was addressed right away. Problems I witnessed was of tenants letting their children tear up the shared areas, let their children roam around the complex & parking lot unattended ,leaving animal waste, not respectful of other tenants . It said to hear these negative about it comments."
"I lived here years ago. The staff were pretty friendly for the most part but the area around those apartments was trash. Gunshot echoed all the time, the police were always on the property over domestic disputes. My neighbors were tweakers who actually broke into my place when I was in the hospital. When I finally left that God forsaken place apparently I owed a huge bill. Which I paid cause I'm a good person. But I would not recommend these apartments to my worst enemy. That area is brutal."
