"The only positives for here are the location near OHSU and the price. There is a door leading inside from the parking lot that everyone uses and will slam it really loud at all hours of the morning to make sure you're still alive. The location is convenient. Just don't try to arrive or depart during rush hours. Karaoke every night in the Suki sports bar downstairs, kitchen open until midnight usually."

"The reviews that are low stars are probably from Karen’s that like to throw a tantrum when told something like nooooooo. But I’ve been staying here cause it’s close to the hospital and the service is always great and friendly. Rooms are very clean and I’ve stayed in 4 different rooms over the last four weeks staying here. Remember this is cheaper hotel above a bar so you will have the occasional drunk going to their room so just expect that. Prices can be lowered if you are here for the hospital. I was paying below 100.00 a night when I mentioned this. The bar down below is awesome too, great service down below as well and karaoke every night at 9pm so remember you will hear it from your room, but you get what you pay for. Area is very safe as well, not a single issue over my 2 weeks here so far."

"Came here to stay on business, with my wife & daughter. Was greeted with respect. The front desk clerk during the day was super informative about LITERALLY everything to know about nearby businesses, restaurants, activities, transportation, how to work the TV, great channel & activity recommendations. Being nervous going to the city, the staff sure made it more enjoyable to stay there. It was nice. I will continue to stay there for my future stays in Portland, business & vacation. 10/10 everything! Thank you so much for being such great people & so welcoming!"

"Location is great especially for OHSU BUT BE WARNED Front desk clerk was an absolute jerk. Wanted to know why I didnt go outside at 3am and stop the people when I heard loud screaming coming right outside our room for more than 30 minutes. He started complaining to me about the police and blaming me for not doing anything. And when I asked for the manager I was laughed at. Then when Best Western reached out to this hotel the front desk clerk refused to give them the manager also. Seems like the nasty front desk thinks he owns the hotel. Would not stay here until they did some house cleaning with their rude staff and also the rooms. Floors have huge stains and walls are dirty next to the beds. Overall it's gross and doesn't deserve the Best Western affiliation."
