"My husband and I are so happy to have moved into Couch9! We moved in last Thursday and we honestly couldn’t be happier! The staff are kind and warm with every welcome! I am a nosy person and ask a lot of questions and they were so happy to answer each and every one. Our unit? Perfect!! I have never seen such a clean and ready move in! It looks like we walked into a newly built unit! The windows are so big and catch all the light all day! As for the neighborhood? Every person we met was warm and welcoming. We have met 2 floor neighbors now and they were so kind! Folks on the street have been so supportive and happy to help! We love it here already and can’t wait to stay for many years to come!"

"I’ve lived here since September 2022 and have almost nothing negative to say. Location is great, building is always clean, maintenance requests are almost always handled within 24 hours and the staff is next level helpful when it comes to going above and beyond to help residents with any needs. Management has changed a few times but has always been good people. You do get some shady characters around here sometimes but that’s just what it is when you live in the Pearl/Portland area in general. Staff earns their 5 stars all day."

"i wish i could provide better feedback but i would want the truth be signing contracts. This building has zero security and only has cameras on the main floor and elevator, so if there was trouble at your unit, there would be no way to verify the incident. the doors under all units have an inch gap allowing anyone from the hall to see easily under your door. homeless get in and is an issue. staff doesn’t respond to emails or phone calls. i have tried to get a valet trash (forced to pay in lease) and still have yet to see it 7 months in. i still cannot get anyone to reply to get a parking space, though they do reply to new tenant request which tells me a lot. in 7 months i have been trapped and harnessed by homeless in the elevator, and also had robbers break into the main room with a crow bar. The porches are all different lengths so if you want a bigger patio, you will get all your neighbors trash from above you on your porch the only people to respond in maintenance. I don’t like leaving these reviews but i’m stuck in a lease in a building completely unsafe as there have been 2 murders 2 blocks away. I would seek a place with safer security. The building may be nice but i don’t feel safe, heard, or valued as a resident here. wish it were different."

"I’ve lived at Couch9 for the last year and love my experience here. The apartments are spacious, have clean lines and open layouts (which has been hard to find in Portland). I especially appreciate the attentiveness of our building management team, Rubie and Jazmine, they are friendly, quick to respond, and always seeking ways to make the living experience at Couch9 better. Thank you both for all that you do! Helpful amenities: Rooftop and lounge, fire pit, grill, pet wash, bike storage, easy maintenance requests, and a secure package room with locker are all great!"

"Couch 9 made it very easy to choose my new home here in PDX. The views from my new place sell itself. The rooftop and all the amenities, great security make me feel comfortable 24/7. Carol the manager helped me through the process and made everything so easy. Loving it so far!"
