"Another one-star review for this place. The new management has been raising the prices on everything. utilities, rent, parking (which used to be free).The units have mold problems, and the constant presence of homeless casing the parking lot and rummaging through the dumpsters."
"Went over to visit a friend, heard their issues but experienced it first hand upon visiting. Dirty outside complex, lots of transients and houseless individuals passing through, and lots of risk with car damage/theft. Thin walls and floors had us hearing their neighbors very easily. I had heard of others vehicles being broken in and stolen and thought nothing of it until I went out and saw someone actively trying to break into my car. Got lucky but management likely wouldn’t have done anything anyways. Wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t pay peoples deposits back or scammed them out of charges on the units as well."
"To Parkland Apartment Leadership Team - I would to recognize and thank you for hiring Deanna Gederevich, the property manager at SE 92nd Ave, Portland, OR. Her excellent service and the constant “can do” approach to satisfying customer needs has been exceptional. Her communication, the quality of the interactions via in-person, email and phone, and the consistently pleasant and positive attitude at Parkland Apartments are second to none. Those qualities make it an absolute pleasure to work with since my family moved-in on 10/16. It's nice to know that Parkland Apartments has staff that work hard and provide assistance when called upon. All her efforts have made my family wonder why we didn’t move here sooner. I will make sure to refer your services to all my family and friends. I hope this message gets back to upper management and it provides Deanna with some type of merit increase or compensation, because good employees are hard to find, but excellent employees are indispensable. "Parkland Apartments has convenient access to the freeway if you are a commuter like me, but I needed to move closer in to the city. The office staff are friendly, professional, and were attentive to the needs I addressed about my unit. I wish I could have paid my rent online like the last place I lived in, but going in once a month was actually enjoyable after getting to know the property managers. I did not get my full deposit back, which has been the norm everywhere I have stayed in Portland, but they were easily able to explain why I was charged for specific items I had damaged while living there. While I was in the process of moving they also began doing a better job making sure us residents had priority in the parking lot by giving us stickers to identify our cars which really alleviated much of the issues I had. I wish there would have been assigned parking near my unit, but there was always a spot available when I came home from work and most people ended up parking in similar spots anyways! I hate the idea of paying more for my smaller space. I miss my balcony."
"Excellent customer service. The property manager is professional, courteous and straightforward. She doesn't waste time or words. The apartment is clean and well built and the neighbors are considerate. No issues with the property. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy given the amount of homeless but so far I've had no problem. It's close to everything you need, including the 205 freeway, MAX station at SE Division and Mall 205."
