"Yea don’t ever live here, unless you want to be constantly harassed by you landlord for just having friends over, living you life, or even just being intimate with your partner! The landlord Rochelle would constantly bang on my door, reeking of alcohol and what I believe to be meth and screaming at my roommate and I for the littlest things. Oh and let’s not mention, not taking a security deposit from me, and upon my move out inspection telling me that she would replace the carpet and I wouldn’t have to pay for it. Now, four years later, I can’t get a new place because she went back on her word and sent me to collections, for something she said she would fix. Do not, I repeat DO NOT live here"
"This place is terrible and highly disrespectful to its residents. The property manager, Rachelle, prioritizes relationships with contractors over residents and is completely unwilling to address safety concerns. The property began a highly disruptive and loud construction project during COVID-19 pandemic restrictions when many residents were attending school and work remotely. Furthermore, the construction crew was permitted to work without following CDC protocol, meaning a resident could open thier front door and be face-to-face with an unmasked worker. Management would refuse to give details on the contractor or the project overall and would choose to protect the contractor over the residents. The units are poorly maintained and come with low quality appliances. Repair requests would go unaddressed for extended periods of time During just the first half of 2021, this building has been reported to OSHA multiple times and has had multiple reports of fire code violations (which have still not been fully and properly addressed). Residents also report a much lower level of satisfaction with the property and its management."
"I've been here for 4.5 months and I love it! Great location for an awesome price! So close to division and hawthorne, grocery stores and health food and tons of restaurants around. The property manager Alex is super awesome and sweet! She's always responsive and genuinely cares about things being done well and residents getting their needs met. The apartments are spacious and fairly priced and tons of parking in the lot and along the street, I never have an issue finding parking. Love this apartment!"
"Awful part of the neighborhood with a very lazy maintenance guy who spends over two hours a day, every day, with a loud obnoxious leaf blower"
