"As a now resident, I have to say that Grace really helped and impressed me throughout the process here. I had a totally awesome experience the entire time.I had been eyeing originally FortyOne 11, but after hearing about this place, then seeing it, I was completely in love. As someone who this was my first time out on my own, I had a lot of questions, and I would say even some concerns. Grace was absolutely amazing. She was there to sit and answer all of my questions, and take me through several different tours of the apartments. Grace made the transition super easy, and was always there to communicate throughout the process. Between tours and the move in being roughly a month, which was expected, she was fantastic. Now that I am a resident here, I absolutely love it. The people are nice, it is super quiet, and Grace is in the office the majority of the time if I have any questions. If she isn’t here, I can always reach her by phone. I would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone that is shopping around the Portland Metro area."
"The initial walk through was great, I was encouraged to bring my puppy along. The units are beautiful, with nice open natural light. There was a small hick up upon my move in date, but was quickly fixed by the manager Grace. I’ve been here a while and have yet to run into any issues. Recently my fob stopped working and Grace got right on it to have the problem rectified."
"absolutely hellish experience trying to apply for an apartment here. leasing manager Grace will tell you one thing in person and then backtrack the next, questions go completely ignored via email, and i was left more confused after every interaction. seeing other reviews saying they are unable to get ahold of management once already living there is unsettling. I’m glad I got this cold shoulder BEFORE moving in. a lot of 5 star reviews of this place are just from viewing tours, which is a red flag. what do the folks that actually live here experience?"
"I don’t recommend this apartment for many reasons. There have been 3 different management companies in the less than 2 years I’ve lived here and this latest one has been very uncommunicative until I left this review. Safety is an issue here, with a broken glass back door that took weeks to fix with glass spilling onto the ground and no one cleaning it up until after myself and others reached out several times. My bike was stolen out of the “secured” bike room, it was locked to a mount and they ripped the whole mount off the wall. This was with the last management and no one followed up with me about the surveillance footage. Recently someone puked in the only stairwell in the building right in the pathway, and didn’t clean it for over 2 days, only until other tenants wrote notes to call them out. Also, someone tried to break into our building’s recycling and garbage room which does not open anymore, so we can’t access the recycling bins. No one was notified, no email or anything. There have been several notes left in the elevator by tenants for many reasons, from not being able to contact management, to reporting stolen packages. Also someone trashed the community room and they had to close it down for a while. For the amount you pay here, the stress of the theft & the many issues is not worth it."
"A friend of mine was thinking about taking a job in Portland, OR and I was checking out studios in SE Portland with them. I love how close the bars are to the location and the fact it's only a couple blocks from Revolution Hall's rooftop bar. My friend says the studio apartment itself is pretty roomy and has a great view of downtown Portland. Sorry for the lame photo, but it's all I had that I wanted to post publicly. What happens in Portland stays in Portland, wink wink."
