"I lived here for 1 yr, they said they would repair the blinds, they did eventually but they were backwards., came home one night a transient set up camp on the top floor landing tent and all., laundry never worked right if at all, when I moved I. They said I could hang anything on the walls, I did and when I moved I scoured the place it was cleaner then when I moved in I also patched any holes I created with screws. Was told I'd get my full dep back , took 3 months to get my dep back they kept 300 of itsaying the place was filthy and had huge holes in the walls....BULLSHIT, & the best part was only one plug worked in the kitchen/dining area they said buy an multi plug I did but couldn't make coffee and toast at the same time. DONT RENT THERE!! save your money better.places newer and cheaper out there.!"
"I moved out because the building was not being well taken care of and there was a pipe leak repair done in my studio but never finished. After few months I decided to look for a better deal/newer building. When I moved out I made sure my studio was in great condition. I was told I would be getting my full deposit back and it would take two weeks. It has now been 6 weeks.. no deposit!"
"This place would be cute if the owners cared about the building.. it's looking a little worse every month! I did get lucky my apartment is not on one of the lower floors so I have less issues than the rest of the renters(I've heard horror stories!) and my apartment is cute BUT I'm always hoping nothing breaks in my apartment because getting repairs may take weeks, months or never? Also, getting mail/packages is not really a thing here, they don't have a way for carrier's to get in the building.. if packages get left outside they will get stolen. I requested for them to look into the mail issue multiple times but I just got rude responses."
"Don't rent here. There's about a million reasons I could list- constant issues with the wiring, laundry, plumbing, mail etc. Nobody fixes anything. Been robbed twice because the company that owns the building won't fix the broken back door. Been locked out several times because the front door breaks like once a month. The new landlord will try to charge you illegally for reasons he makes up on the spot. Honestly there's a lot of other reasons as well. Don't rent here- definitely don't rent Russell Hosner properties"
"I’ve lived here for about 2.5 months and have already experienced ridiculous issues. I’m not one to write a Google review but I’m wildly unhappy with this property. First: two days after we moved in, our upstairs neighbors mentioned that our living room fan was extremely loud, she said she contacted maintenance (as did i) and management requested me not to use it (which is totally fine) cut to 2 months later and haven’t heard a single thing about it even after following up. I’ve had 2 packages stolen because Amazon doesn’t have access to the building so they leave them on the front porch…you have to track your packages like a hawk in order to receive them. The front door to the building lock has been broken several times, the lock takes sometimes up to a week to be fixed, which is unsafe. I haven’t received any mail in over 2 weeks, I contacted USPS and they said they lost access to our building…WHAT? So now i have to go pick up my mail at a usps location until management provides a new key. Last but not least, our washers and dryers went missing one day with no communication and were gone for 5 days. When they were returned…the prices on them were increased significantly. The area is nice but the amount of money we pay to rent a studio here is insane. Just don’t do it."
