"I love living here. The apartments are beautiful - thoughtful layouts, high quality appliances, beautiful views of forest park with abundant light (which can't be taken for granted in the winter). Beautiful accents with the wainscoting on the walls, the brass fixtures, the wallpaper - high quality floors that are indestructible. My favorite is the walls are really well sound-proofed, offering a lot of privacy and tranquility. We've lived here for almost two years and have never had an issue. The neighborhood is safe and has everything you could want or need, there is nothing that I dont walk to. Like I said we've been here for a while and we continue to discover little gems all the time (found a speak easy the other night just down the street). Shout out to Lexi, the property manager, who has been super helpful the entire time we have lived here - responsive, kind, supportive and in pursuit of a timely resolution to all of our queries. She never tired of answering my incessant line of questioning when we were looking at the various options while moving in, but you can tell a good property manager by how helpful they are after you move in, and Lexi has been the best. I lived in New York City for 12 years in as many apartments, and I've never lived anywhere close to as nice as this place."

"At times we've been up and down about living here. We did have an issue a while back that was mainly the fault of the garage being broken. It definitely caused us to question living here due to not feeling safe or having to worry about our belongings. But in the end we felt that Lexi and Greystar management went above and beyond to help us with this problem. So I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nice place to live."

"Update 8-16-2023 DO NOT MOVE TO THE FITZ! My experience living here for almost a year from June 2022-June 2023 was disappointing, expensive and stressful. I was consistently disappointed with the lack of urgency and care the property manager Sydney Hope (at the time) expressed when I had concerns/issues with the comfort of my apartment. For example, within the first week of moving in, ceiling water damage was detected which took almost 2 months to repair. The repair required an extremely loud industrial grade dehumidifier machine so as to remove the water damage from the surrounding structure and the machine had to be placed in the middle of the apartment. The property manager at the time Sydney Hope (which has been let go/fired as of June 2023) did not offer to move me to another apartment while repairs were being done and neither did I receive any type of compensation for the stress and misery this caused me and my pet. This was among the many issues I experience as a residence. BE ADVISED! For those considering parking your or your visitors vehicle in front of The Fitz, make sure you do not have dark tinted windows and please remove anything of value that's visible inside the vehicle for vandalism and theft are frequent while parking at The Fitz for no apartment security cameras/personnel exist. Lastly, my quality of life was down graded by choosing to live at The Fitz. The Fitz has no amenities, lack of a welcoming community, No mail room for packages which are mostly left unsecured on the lobby floor. The amenities for example; dog washing station, gym and more bike storage space were promised when I signed the lease which never came to exist. June 2022 I want to thank Sydney Hope the community manager for her exemplary kindness, effort and thoughtfulness we experienced upon our guided tour at The Fitz Apartments Portland. Because of Sydney’s expertise, patience and readiness to answer questions with such knowledgeable precision, the process of becoming a tenant at The Fitz has been comfortable. I look forward to making The Fitz my home knowing that I’m in good hands with the help of its dedicated staff. Thanks again Sydney!"
