"Maggie the office manager is super helpful whether it be leasing questions or service requests. The maintenance team is amazing. They always respond promptly, and always fixes it right. There is plenty of parking. The laundry room is always clean. The landscaping is well maintained. The community is clean and feels safe!"
"This complex, aside from using the cheapest appliances and keeping all of your deposit when you left the apartment the same way you entered it, runs loud maintenance and yard work at the worst hours of day. The neighborhood complains about it regularly yet they continue running leaf blowers and weed whackers at 7am or earlier. Those place is not worth it."
"I will actually take the time to type why this management property is the worst ever. I thought the apartment manager was bad, but it starts from the top tier. I lived at The Oaks for 4 years, and then received a notice to move without cause, pretty common now days, NOTE: My rent was always paid on time and no neighbor complaints since it was just my husband and I in the unit. The manager never returned phone calls; she was always out of the office at other properties "managing" and always delayed any maintenance issue. She was rude and unprofessional every time, should say 99% of the time. My lease was up on the 31st of the month and I turned in my keys that exact day. Since it was a Saturday, the manager said she didn't receive the keys until Monday the 2nd; which meant they charge me for 2 "extra" days. Then when I went to dispute the charge it took over 3 weeks to get it rectified. People at the corporate office were unbelievably rude. The company must do well financially, of course after ripping people off, but perhaps they must under pay their people since they are very unprofessional and cannot return calls and blame others in their office for their own mistakes. The receptionist (Beth) was kind the 1st time I talked to her but then act just like all the other corporate people and management at the Oaks. Reconsider moving in to any of their properties. Besides all this, the apartments may look "nice" but everything is awfully installed cheap / half fast, so if something brakes they can charge you an arm and a leg for it. Their leases are only 6 or 9 months, for the same reason, to make you fully responsible for all of what's "new" in the apartment. BEWARE!!!!!"
"Quiet-enough place (really depends on your neighbors), office manager is nice, no frills here but works for my needs. Tri-met stop right out front, convenient strip mall 1 min walk away with a McMinniman's in it. Place seems a bit dated; but again, it works."
"So all the other reviews are out dated and I'm sure at the time it was what they said it was. But I live here currently, and have for close to 2 years. There is generally trash lying around the complex, not a lot but enough to notice. Maggie is nice and willing to work with you, but she's often difficult to get a hold of, generally because she had to manage 2 properties. I don't know if there is still on site "maintenance," but that doesn't matter much because your personally responsible for almost all the upkeep of your apartment... like cleaning and re-caulking to prevent mold, or having to completely empty a cabinet so they can check the water heater. There's 5 wash machines and 3 & 1/2 dryers, I say that because 1 dryer is often broken. And they work great for small loads, but anything more and you'll be spending 4 to 8 bucks on just drying. The walls are thin, neighbors are often and easily heard. The second floors creak with nearly every step, and the carpet tacks (atleast in my unrenavated"
