"Unless you’re ok with waking up to homeless people wandering aimlessly on your floor, sleeping against the fire exits, and growing in population all around your living space, I wouldn’t recommend living here. Oh! And if you don’t like getting little to no sleep every night, I would highly suggest not living on the second floor as you’re right above a 24/7 operating loading dock for the Safeway and can hear EVERYTHING. Especially unit 232. Good luck in your apartment hunting!"

"I lived here for 6 years and had nothing but a pleasant experience with the leasing office staff and maintenance crew. It's downtown and is an apartment, if you expect quiet and no ruckus, why are you moving downtown? I loved the ease of going anywhere and everywhere from Museum Place."

"In business you learn "people are your greatest asset". This could not be more true for Museum Place. The office staff is wonderful. Each day as I come and go, I am greeted with smiles and salutations from Sarah and Jael in the office. They are always so helpful and truly make me feel at home here which in the city makes all the difference. The maintenance workers here are extremely diligent and courteous. Hussein and Caleb are total rockstars. I feel like Museum Place is my own little sanctuary in an otherwise bustling downtown metropolis."

"Lived here for 1 year and would not recommend it to someone looking for an apartment in downtown Portland. The apartment I moved into was all brand new - appliances, flooring. Was nice, clean and on the top floor, which was a bonus. First few months were fine, but things really started going downhill fast. Elevators - Do you like waiting for elevators? If so, you'll love this place. I can't tell you how major of a problem the elevators became for all tenants of Museum Place. Two elevators for 7 floors - barely passible if they are both working. Imagine a situation when one is broken for 3+ months - completely unacceptable and was exactly the situation we were in when I moved. I moved all of my belongings with one elevator working for the entire building. Moving in? You've got one elevator. I've been gone for 2 weeks and and the elevators are still no closer to being fixed. Noise - walls are thing and you can hear your neighbors on the phone, TV and flushing the toilet. Some of this is to be expected in an apartment, but the fact that they are moving to laminate floors instead of carpeting in the apartments makes the noise travel even further. Management Turnover - there has been what I deem a high amount of turnover in management. In the past year I've seen 3 Managers come and go. This, combined with the lack of communication regarding the elevators, really put a damper on my experience. I saw my very first email about the elevators....this week after I was gone. I feel like people are trying to do a good job and they are nice and respectful, so perhaps they aren't equipped to be successful which leads them to leaving? I'm not new to apartment living and was warned early on about the elevator situation. I read the (bad) reviews and figured I could handle it. I couldn't handle it, plus they had the gall to increase everyones lease payments by a substantial amount felt like a kick in the pants. Not recommended"

"My Partner, John, and I have lived at Museum Place for the past five years. It has been a pure pleasure living in this community. The office staff is truly accommodating, fun to be around and very service-oriented. Manager Katie has helped me NUMEROUS times...She's the best. Trey, and Topher are great to work with and are truly good at their jobs. I give my highest praise to the building's maintenance man, Hussein. He takes tremendous care of our building, fixes problems in our units the day they are called in, goes the extra mile to make the residents happy, and on, and on... We have stayed here so long primarily due to the excellent service."
