"I loved living here! You could always find a parking spot for you, and a guest if needed. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The move out experience was top tier (I got most of my deposit back). The hot tub and pool were always kept clean and OPEN! The one down fall was my car got broken into twice during the one year of living here. I reported it to the leasing office and within a week they installed more lighting in the back parking lots. Only wish they installed cameras too. Miss living here so much. I would highly recommend."
"This is all my personal opinion and based off of my and my partners experiences. This is a horrible apartment complex. Let's start with some of the surface reasons that should deter anyone from renting here in my opinion. 1.(Parking) Parking is a nightmare, you will be lucky to find a spot within 500 feet of the entrance to your apartment and if you do it will likely be so tight you will have mere inches on each side of your car to get out. As well as people are constantly and allowed to park in fire lanes all around the property. This creates terrible blind spots and very dangerous situations if a fire is to happen. 2.(Trash) They have a singular trash disposal area for the whole property and it is in the far back of the parking lot. This means depending on what unit you have you will have to walk up to a 3/4s of a mile of which is very dark and possibly dangerous at night. They expect you to find your own soultion to this. You will see people having to carry trash in there cars to go take it out. Or having to buy there own trash carts. 3. (Rent) In our experience they would raise the rent the near maximum allowed by Oregons law every lease renewal. Yet do no improvements to any of the copious amounts of issues with the property. 4. (ice and snow) Every winter they do absolutely nothing about the ice and snow on the walk ways. This causes seriously dangerous walking hazards as well as can make the apartment impossible to leave for days after the roads are clear. It is stated in portlands code that it is up to property owners to properly mantain walkways and parking lots as to be usable in a safe manor. Yet they will not even do so when tenats complain and get hurt. 5. (Personal experience) We had been in our 30 days to vacate time period after submitting our move out date. During this period a large ice storm hit Portland. Though we had been able to get our car to the property during this ice storm the complete lack of sidewalk and parking lot deicing made it literally impossible to move anything out of the apartment without slipping and breaking our stuff or being injured. The lack of doing anything was so egregious that even with roads clear for at least half the time we had been unable to move out for 1.5 weeks of the 4 weeks of notice to vacate due to ice on walkways. We talked to a staff member during all this as we would come check the walk ways every day during this period. The staff member admitted to the lack of deicing being a lack of staff issue, they also admitted to at least 8 accounts of other tenants falling. Even self admitting to falling themself. Yet when rushing as much as possible and only being allowed a 5 day extension they then decided to charge us for the 5 extra days of rent even though our inability to move was due to the lack or walkway maitance. So, yes In my personal experience this is a place I would recommend nobody sign a lease with."
"This management company does not do anything about noisy, problematic neighbors in apartment homes. Their sister property right down the road has had an ongoing noise issue ever since I moved in loudbassy music from my neighbor that they refused to do anything about. Beware I’m not sure why I moved here I work emergency systems where people could literally die and I’m losing sleep great thanks. I do not feel safe here. This other resident seems aggressive.. This has been a pattern since the day I moved in management heard it when he walked in the day I moved in and they’ve not been able to fix the issue. As you can see per their response, this is all they tell me is to email and call them and that’s all that ever happens as I email and call them and nothing else seems to change. They do not seem to empathize or understand that this is Where people live their places of residence where they sleep and live their lives, and it should feel safe and calm not like this chaos what am I even paying for? For a slew of emails chaos gross lack of sleep affecting my health and work. But thanks for the emails"
"Ironically not accessible without a vehicle, yet if you have one you won’t know peace. They have change policies a few times but it is clear they do not offer enough spaces for the property. The security company they used to hire went out of business and they do not care to get another while cars are stolen and vandalized Edit* You are correct that this happens in many zip codes. Apartment management is expected to take reasonable steps to protect tenants. Hiring security in an area that is ROUTINELY hit (and that residents have been reporting frequent theft and vandalism in) is a more than reasonable request, especially when said cameras have not deterred anything. And thank you for directing me to email the leasing office, you responded faster here than you did to my email about the incident."
"Cons Parking: Consider this you worked a 12 hrs shift, you get home and there is not a SINGLE spot so you drive around till 5am to find a spot. Imagine sitting in your car for 5 hrs after work since you can't find a single spot. This is starting to happen more and more and the managment is doing nothing about it except tow residents. Not a solution. Rather than having guest parking there should just be RENTER parking since were the ones paying $2300 for rent a month. Yeah they increase the rent here. This has only in the last 3 months become an issue and sadly nothing is being done to resolve except telling their resident to park 1.5 miles away DOWNHILL at 12pm. Yeah, a real solution there. My goodness. If you work from home sure come be here, just again remember that you want to be home BEFORE 8pm when most spots are taken. Trash Maintenance Cost to Pay Your Rent: Pros Apartment Itself"
