"I one of a group of six college buddies that met in 1973 when we started university life at UC Davis in California. We take an annual trip and this year we chose Portland. We rented the Alberta Street duplex for a week and loved every minute of staying in the midst of the Arts District. To be able to walk out of the house and have countless shops, bars and restaurants right outside our door was fabulous! We also enjoyed sitting at the picnic table and people watch while we imbibed in great Willamette Valley wine. Michelle is a wonderful host and we can't recommend this property highly enough!"

"I organized a bachelorette party where we all stayed at the Rear Break property several years ago and I still dream about that place! It was a perfect, fun, and central place for us all to gather. We used the wonderful spacious kitchen and dining table for communal meals. Loved the decor, the great communication with the hosts, and all of the beds were super comfy! The ladies I went with were also blown away by this property and if I'm ever in Portland again we will definitely book with Shift Vacation Rentals!!"

"My husband and I booked the entire Alberta house for ourselves and wedding party for our wedding weekend. It was the perfect location for our many out of town guests to get to know a great neighborhood in Portland. We also loved that we were all able to get ready at the same location. The owners have truly thought of everything and have stocked the house extensively for anything you might need during your visit. Both duplexes are beautifully decorated.
