"The Louisa Apartments is a beautiful place. Although the building did not end up working out for me because of proximity to work and lack of a gym, I loved the building. Brittany, the assistant manager, is the nicest and most accommodating person. I showed up towards the end of the day without an appointment and she showed me multiple units and could not have been kinder and easier to deal with."

"October 2023 Updating: It has unfortunately drastically changed. We were able to over look the fact the Louisa has no amenities, prior to us moving here, because of the service. However, the ongoing weed smoking that sips through the walls, elevators are constantly down which forces residents to use stairs (16 levels), the door entry, the mail system that is not updated and items are lost or stolen, the appliances not working, and loud disturb homeless community that is heard through out the entire day and night because the walls so are so thin is beyond concerning . If it was for certain employees we would have already moved . The management companies needs to update the building. . . December 2022 Ms Kathy sets the tone at Louisa !!!!! My husband and I are a young couple, who want to purchase a home but realize it wasn’t time. She welcome us like her own, she also prepared us to get the best option that still allows us to save for our home, but enjoy the luxury of Portland Pearl living!!! The only thing we wish they had was a Gym!!!. Besides that we truly enjoy our place!"

"I've been here for about a year now. At first, it was great, but then I started noticing how subpar this place actually is. First off, my garbage disposal stopped working and I needed a filter in my fridge changed. I submitted two work orders and no one had come by even a week later. I had to submit multiple of the same one to get their attention to get these things fixed. One time, I was on a work trip in a different country and I get a call saying that water is coming from my apartment. I believe the sewer backed up. Anyway, two weeks later I come back from my trip, and I come home to all my belongings just thrown into my bathub, dirty, and moldy. The maintenance team didn't even try to rinse off anything. When I wrote an email saying I was unhappy about this - The Louisa did not even respond. Another time, I wanted to ask about purchasing parking. I called multiple times on separate occasions and all my calls were ignored. Now, the sewer backed up again and the pipes were spewing up dirty sewage water from underneath and the pipes were dripping and even pouring with water into the sink cabinet and then onto my bathroom floor. I had to deal with this all night and now going into the day. The kick is that they want to raise my rent by $200 for the next lease cycle. Thanks, Louisa. I truly feel like a valued resident."

"I moved in a few weeks ago and everyone here has been lovely so far. I thought I was having a crisis when I first arrived with my dog after a cross-country drive and Sarah from the leasing office went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and would be comfortable for the night, even getting stuff from her place and returning after her shift to give me a care package! I had a small maintenance issue when I first arrived that got resolved quickly. The people, parking situation, location, and the view from my balcony make me very happy I picked the Louisa (plus I love the layout of my apt)."
