"I had an issue with my dishwasher leaking after every couple of uses. I called management and they had maintenence at my unit within a half an hour. Not only were they quick to respond but aldo very friendly during the whole process in getting it repaired!"

"My partner and I were interested in touring Northwood Apartments last year when we initially started apartment shopping in Portland. I called to set up a tour and the leasing manager at the time was short with us and just said they didn't have any units available to tour. Even if there was no availability at the time, it seemed like we were an inconvenience for being interested in their property. One year later, we are apartment shopping again and saw Northwood has availability now and decided we should try again to set up a tour. I called the leasing office (which is, by the way, the number listed on their website and not the incorrect number linked through Google) where Louis (I assume the property manager) answered and set us up for a self-guided tour for Saturday morning at 11:00am. He said for a self-guided tour that we could just call "Management" on the call box and that he would be able to let us into the building and tell us which apartment was unlocked and available to tour, which was fine for us, and he said he'll be sure to look for our call around 11:00am. When our tour time came, he apparently did not make sure to look for a call because we called management 3 times on the callbox with no answer, and I also called Louis personally with no answer. We waited around for 15 minutes without hearing anything and were essentially ghosted for our scheduled tour, which is a big red flag and a waste of our time. This is unfortunate because the complex looks nice (at least from pictures since, you know, we weren't able to see the inside...) and affordable, and my partner and I love the Kenton area, but it seems the mangement really needs to get their act together to actually attract some worthwhile tenants. Seems to be one of the many all-too-familiar apartment complexes that possess otherwise nice/desirable units and undermine their own potential with inattentive and careless property management."
