"Best budget hotel in town. Large rooms, awesome workers and sharp yet kind folks in charge. Location cannot be beat. Still remnants of pandemic i.e. streets a little littered and homeless persist. Hopefully, only a distant memory soon..."

"- first of all, I reserved a room with a king bed but was given a room with a queen bed, but was still charged for a king bed. Their answer was that they'll give me one night free 'next time'...but there won't be a next time, lol. Pro: it is the closest hotel to the Hollywood Theater, where I was attending a film festival Cons: - no dresser for clothes. Just a shelf with a bar that has no hangers. - No chairs...at all...a scratched up table, but no chairs, either straight back or comfy. Sit on the bed or don't sit. - When I checked in, all the towels/washcloths were stacked on my bed. that's because there's no shelves/towel racks in the bathroom...just one lonely hook on the back of the bathroom door. - lots of security lights outside...but so bright in the room that I could read a book at midnight with the room lights off. - I can't imagine how they found a mattress as hard as the one I had...i like firm mattresses, but this felt like a blanket laid on top of plywood. So, all this for $121.53/night? Nope...never again."

"Overall it was good and affordable. Ravish the Indian manager played true to the stereotype of lying/ scamming people by trying to up charge 20% higher, but in the end he ended up being true to his word after bring called out so I gave this place a 3 star. I would have given this place a 4 star because the rooms was good. Had a fridge and a microwave. Only downside was how bright the lights were, so much so that the curtains barely kept it dark. The location was great for a tourist like myself."

"Room was basically brand new, staff was super friendly and accommodating. Great location with lots of stuff walking distance. Not super fancy but has everything you need and is clean. You can't ask for more at this price. They are still remodeling so don't be put off by the exterior."

"Wonderful place! Do not be put off by the construction that can be seen from the street. They are undergoing some renovations, but do go above and beyond to make sure it doesn’t impact the guests in any real way. Rooms are clean, stylish and functional. The kitchenette met my needs satisfactorily. Hot water was always hot and shower pressure was above average. Heater blew hot and easily kept pace with some of the colder days we had in January. Management was always professional and effective. Banfield Studios exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone"
