Shilo Inns Portland Airport

"Believe it or not, I spend a lot of time in Japan. And I asked my friends overseas where they like to stay when they arrive in Portland. Nearly everyone of them recommended this hotel. I wasn’t sure why. But after staying there, I understood. The rooms are inexpensive, clean, roomy and the staff was incredibly kind. Even a free shuttle back to the airport. If I ever travel back to Portland, Oregon, I will be staying here. It’s not the four seasons hotel. It’s an inexpensive and clean hotel for those who don’t want to break the bank. Highly recommend."

"If they could offer 100% the Shilo experience and amenities, this would be a 5-star review. Hopefully they get a few things up and running in the near -future here and it will be back to the great company that Shilo is."

"Spacious rooms sectioned off living room. Very clean! The linens were super soft and not over-bleached. Large restaurant next door with gaming machines. Ample parking!"

"The staff was so kind and friendly. My son and I were really tired from our flight, and the sweet young woman who checked us in was quick and helpful. We truly appreciate that kind of customer care!"

"Too bad this hotel couldn’t be clean and well maintained, it could be a nice place. Room was large and had a separate eating/lounge area. It smelled like cigarettes (and some sort of fragranced cover-up) still from the good ole days. I felt really gross here, cleanliness definitely lacking. Our dog found a smashed egg (shell and all) in the corner behind a couch, totally visible without much effort. Must’ve been there a long, long time. Everything looked dirty. Paid $200 including taxes for one night. Bummer."
