"Contacting them is impossible, they wont help you on any issues. I lived here for a year. During my time with them I took care of rent on time and everything as I should. I moved out at the end of 2023. I never received a CRP ( certificate of rent paid ) for taxes and I have sent multiple emails and I have made countless calls and not one answer or any type of acknowledgement. I feel obligated to leave a bad review for the inconveniences caused and hope they will contact me In regards to my request. If so I'm willing to give a better review"

"Eastgate has gotten soo bad to the point they trying to clean out the apartments from minorities. Their office is close 24/7. They don't answer their phones forget about emails. Good luck if you trying to move in. On the other point if you ever trying to move out, not only moving out, but if you are minority for get about your deposit no matter how you clean that apartment they will steal your money and come out with excuses. Don't take your money there find a better apartment that values you because their management is bad!!It is not acceptable what is Eastgate doing. I also forgot their hallway smells like weed and when you complain they won't do anything about it!"

"Went to Minnesota for a day and they were able to show me a couple units last minute! They were so kind and it was a great experience. They explained everything to me and answered any questions I had. I plan to apply and move in later this year"

"I was on GRH housing assistance from the county. They have rental limits as to what they can pay for an apartment, and i lost everything over a HUGE rental increase. My $1,100/month jumped up to $1,500. As a result, I was forced to vacate when my lease ended two months later. My case worker tried seeing if they could make an exception. Eastgate “tried” to accommodate, but when it came to it, they wouldn’t budge over a $20 difference. I personally think it was an act of discrimination against the minorities. They jumped up their prices just barely out of reach for those on welfare. The two months before it was my turn to vacate, I saw a uhaul out in front of the building every weekend. I wasn’t the only one. Anyone who couldn’t afford the huge increase in rent, were forced to vacate in the middle of November/December. People complain about the homeless in Rochester, but situations like this, put us and our children in that exact position. I had no one. No family to call, no friends to call. I am a single mother to a 3 year old. This whole situation should have been illegal."

"My application has been on pending for the past two months. Ivetried contacting them multiple times and have gotten no response. They also don't let any students live there, and I had to prove that I wasnt a student. This has not been fast or easy, it's been a terrible experience just applying, I can't imagine living there would be any better. I've continued to reach out and get told "I'll send a message to the people in chare" then nothing comes of it. The only reason I can conceive of is that they want me to cancel so they can keep my security deposit."
