"There's simply not a better option if coming into town for St. Mary's campus at Mayo. I'm an ambassador elite for Marriott- that means I sleep in hotels all over the country to the tune of 140-175 nights a year on average for work. I stay at JW's, Elements, AC's, Marriotts, etc. This has been one the BEST customer service hotels I've stayed in. The folks downstairs are simply great. Their warm smiles and attitudes make coming in after a long drive or long day at the hospital a treat. Thank you, Courtyard staff."

"Staff was wonderful as they definitely understand hospitality. Everyone was so nice and the restaurant connected to the hotel was delish. Restaurant had a wide variety of good food. Great location, esp for Mayo pts. Nice complimentary shuttle service. Room was clean, just ready for a remodel as it's an older property. Would stay again."

"Nasty room, not clean. Curly little hairs all over the whirlpool area, the bed smelled funny and I paid around $220 for 1 king size whirlpool room. I will NEVER go back. Less than 2 stars hotel. Disappointed."

"They say one bad experience...and this is two. This hotel doesn't allow pets, so a woman was forced to leave the hotel because her dogs were in her large car in a shaded ramp with food and water and the windows rolled partway down on a 70⁰ day. I heard the story at the front desk when she was checking out. Her son is at the Mayo and she had nobody to watch her dogs, and the manager "didn't feel comfortable with it". There hadn't even been a complaint yet! I was going to get a room, but not now. There are other places that can take my money and I won't be staying here again. I had issues while staying at the Courtyard by Marriott in DC a couple of months ago, also caused by the manager. I think Marriott needs remedial training in customer service for its managers!"
