Rochester Heights

"Very poor management, poor security and safety, and overall bad service. I got my car stolen and asked to see the cameras to see the culprit but there were NONE in my apartment parking lot. This isn't new too, there have been an increasing number of criminal activities such as drugs being left in staircases, car-jackings due to poor security measures. This rating comes from me living here for a few years hoping things would get better but receiving no change. I personally wouldn't recommend living here. I would definitely advice to tread carefully when deciding to live in a place like this given its current state."

"I loved living here! It’s affordable and pet friendly. Darcy in the main office always makes sure you’re taken care of and all questions are answered. Maintenance is friendly and takes care of things quickly if needed. The remodels they are doing in the units are modern and homey feeling. Definitely recommend!"

"I didn't move here very long ago, but I can already tell you that Rochester Heights is by far the best place I have lived. I used to pay more for a 2 bedroom 1 bath than I pay now for the same thing, and the service is so much better. And I see new carpets and new countertops, it's very nice. Requests are always answered, almost every issues are resolved quickly enough. There are different situations, but in general within a few days someone is sure to come and fix the problem. At my old place you couldn't even get through to the manager - he just wouldn't pick up the phone. Many breakdowns had to be repaired at our own expense, most of which were not our fault, but simply due to poor service. There is no such thing here, much to my great happiness. I hope to continue to have the same opinion. We'll have to see."

"Great place to live, lovely and friendly community. Every single resident is happy after new company took over - now stuff getting repaired and renovated, instead of tepmorary band-aid-like fixes. We see improvements every day! Not welcoming violent felons and shady-background people anymore, place is much safer now, which is especially good if you living here with your family. I've seen some people who live on the property for 20 and 40 (!!!) years, and they all say that it's better now then ever before. We can discuss any issue with stuff and they are gladly addressing it as fast as they could. Yes, sometimes there might be some issues with this or that, but I see that people who running the place are trying to find a way to perfection (judging from letters from management about future improvements that will happen soon) and I (and people around) feel that everything is getting better and better and I can just wait instead of constanly complaining. My life is now much better and more comfortable since I moved here from Twin Cities. Everything is very close, MUCH safer, warmer and nicer."

"Wish I could give half a star! I used to live here when it was Timberland Heights, but this place has completely nose dived into the ground! This place used to be way better when it was Timberland Heights, but now the new management are awful! They were very rude when my fiancé and myself went into to ask a question, after the experience we had, I would rather live at the Gates of Rochester before living here and that is really saying something! I hope for the residents sake, the management gets better because it definitely was an awful experience when we went there."
