"I am a former resident of Nue52, which was managed and owned by Black Swan at the time. I lived there for about 10 months in 2022. I want to commend Black Swan on running a very smooth operation. They were always quick to respond to questions, and I never had any trouble getting in touch with someone. They also acted with integrity when I had any disputes, handling them professionally and fairly. One thing that I found strange, coming from a different part of the country, was that I received notifications about unit tours while I still lived in the apartment. I've heard that this is common practice in the Midwest, but it was still unpleasant. Other than that, I had a good stay at Nue52. There were no hiccups when I moved in or out. I lived on the third floor and never had any problems with warmth or high electricity bills. The apartment is a bit far from everything else, but I was able to get into town just fine without a car by using my bike or the bus stop, which is about 0.75 miles away. I also never had any problems with stolen packages or loud neighbors. Perhaps the biggest benefit is that variable lease terms did not increase rental prices. Overall, I would recommend Nue52 to other potential renters. Black Swan is a good management company, and the apartments are comfortable and well-maintained. While apartments are ultimately businesses and renters can sometimes feel taken advantage of, that was not the case for me and doing business with Nue52 was a pleasure."
