"For the price, it was very good. Everything was recently renovated, so while most things are modern and fresh, there are some things that have obviously not been redone yet. The pool room was the main reason we stayed, since we have young kids. The pool is in generally bad shape-roof was leaking and they were having some moisture issues, but it looked like they were trying; they had dehumidifiers going, the towels were fully stocked and the dirty ones were taken out frequently. Fully getting everything up to par will take time. My kids and I did get rashes from the chlorine, which I have never actually had before, but showering and coconut oil seemed to remedy it sufficiently. Everything was clean everywhere--the cleaning staff does a very good job. One of the toilets was running on the floor above ours, and it started leaking through our bathroom ceiling. I was afraid someone was dead in the bathtub or something, so I was relieved it was just a toilet. They offered to move us, but we only had one night left and the maintenance man got it fixed right away, so it wasn't a big deal. Breakfast was bad, but that's pretty normal for hotels these days. Refined grains and bagged bagels. There is a waffle maker, and they make eggs and sausage, but the eggs are cut into squares and are pretty tasteless, and the sausage was somehow not good either. Overall, the place needs some work, but most reasonable people know this does not happen overnight. The rooms are a great value for the price. Hotels are so expensive these days, and to get a decent room under $100 seemed like a thing of the past until we stayed here."

"Really bad hotel. No hot water at all, dirty rooms, they didn’t clean it before they gave it to us. There were empty bottles everywhere. Very uncomfortable pillows. They gave us no water, and when we asked they said go get it your self. Pool was also closed half the time, the roof was leaking and the floors were very disgusting and slippery. Only good thing was the location (if you have a car). The breakfast was awful. No variety, looked like frozen breakfast. Bad experience."

"Very grateful for this place, we decided to stay an extra night. Breakfast is pastries, breakfast sausage, scrambled eggs, yogurt, breads, juice, milk, etc. My absolute favorite thing about this hotel was the cleanliness and how everything was handled with ease. Not a dust speck or loose hair or smudge anywhere in sight. Not even the elevator. We were there three days. Every employee seemed to be working hard and greeted you with a smile. Rooms were nicely decorated, up to date and beds were so clean and comfortable. Even the lobby has a nice environment and decor. Shuttle to Mayo is right on time. We appreciate the convenience and overall comfort of this place."

"Room 320 Our room boasted a distant view of the big yellow corn on the cob water tower. The rooms are well ventilated, bathroom mirrors don't fog, swimsuits dry fast. Shower has good pressure and hot water. Firm king mattress. Room feels clean. Water is too cold in kids pool area.. padded landing at the slide..elements functioned. Pool is warm. Jacuzzi not very hot. Liked the convenience of food and shopping nearby."
