"I lived in Park 44 for 5.5 years, and I wanted to provide an honest overview of my experience for others. On the positive side, Park 44 has an extremely convenient location, within easy walking distance of WashU Med, Whole Foods, and Forest Park. In-unit AC is included at no extra cost, which is very nice during the summers. I appreciated that the appliances and grills are modern. However, it’s important to note that the building itself is over 50 years old and shows its age. There has been a cockroach problem for several years. I lived on the second floor and saw a live cockroach on multiple occasions. There have also been dead cockroaches in the hallway. The pipes are weak and often got backed up; I had to call maintenance to clean my drain about once a year. While there are smoke detectors in every unit and the hallways, I noticed there is no centralized fire alarm system, which is a safety concern. There is an ADA parking spot out front, but the entrance itself is not ADA compliant. I do want to highlight the management’s prompt response to maintenance requests, including those related to the issues I mentioned. Larry has helped me with maintenance on several occasions. Their willingness to address concerns, including implementing a better package delivery system, is a positive aspect of Park 44. In conclusion, my overall experience at Park 44 was average. The aging building, pest issue, and lack of a central fire alarm are notable aspects to consider. However, it’s important to note that these factors didn’t overshadow the location, amenities, or quality of management."

"just moved into park 44 apartments. The building is beautiful, the apartments are nice, very quiet, there’s some construction going on, and when i’m in the hallways sometimes i can hear it, but in my apartment i cannot hear a single thing. everybody i’ve interacted with has been very nice and helpful. submitted a non-emergent maintenance report over the weekend, and Monday afternoon it was fixed, the mechanic was very nice and helpful when he came over, even looked at another maintenance question i had while he was there. obviously a little bit pricey, but super close to good cafes and restaurants. ive had the best experience so far."

"I have lived here for more than 1.5 years and I can say that I had no issues at all. If you decide to live here, your neighbors will be mostly WashU postdocs, grad or med students. You will feel like you live on campus. Their management staff is the best, Selina and Dottye were always so kind to me and when I ask for help they fixed the issues pretty quickly. I moved to Park 44 from overseas at the beginning of 2021 and before I moved here, they let IKEA and Amazon guys drop some furniture at my new apt so that I directly stayed at my new apt from day 1. When I was expecting the delivery of my passport from the consulate and asked for their help to keep the package in a safe place, they even observed the USPS mailman and helped me get my passport smoothly. I will never forget your favor to me! When I hear stories from friends living in other apartment complexes, I feel so thankful that my first experience in St Louis was the best. I appreciate everything you did! ♥️"

"Park 44 Apartment is a great place to live. I have lived here for about six months now. It is close to Forest Park for a walk/run, Whole Food, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, library, etc. The management team and maintenance staff are excellent. The maintenance requests get completed promptly. They have covered parking, on-site laundry, and a shared outdoor courtyard. Come check them out."
