"Do not waste your time here. The People on charge here don't really care about you. They try everything to get into your business, they try telling how to live and without any proof, if they feel like kicking you out or not renewing your lease they will without even trying to speak to you. They just leave a note and expect you to leave. The apartments are moldy, if you don't belive me you are welcome to come over and inspect my apartment right now to see for yourself. If you are looking for a law suit, this is the place. All you have to do is tell them about the hot water coming in boiling hot then coming out ice cold without notice, then back to scolding hot. If you have kids or if you are disabled, the water turning ice cold to boiling hot will burn your skin and make you fall out of the shower like I did a few times. They know it does that in the office but they don't change a thing and it's not just my apartment but everyone's in my building. Every neighbor says the same thing about the people here and the showers. Last time the new manager decided to comment about my dog while standing next to a patio that has still a bend in the wood making that second story patio very unsafe for the people that live there but the manager was to busy trying to bark orders and bring up the rules on my lease and ignore the obvious violations on their apartment structure. These people don't care, they might be cheap but with that cheap you get cheap apartments and poor attitudes from the people in charge. From what I hear the owner is a lawyer so maybe that is why they think they can belittle you at every turn. Don't waste your time unless you're looking too get paid because this is a great place for the opportunity to get a settlement from their ignorant ways. #309"

"Worst apartments in the state. DO NOT LIVE HERE WARNING. I REPEAT DO NOT LIVE HERE. YOU WILL HATE YOURSELF IF YOU DO. WORST APARTMENTS. BUGS EVERYWHERE WHEN IT RAINS WATER WILL LEAK INTO YOUR APARTMENT. MOLD MOLD MOLD. DOG POOP EVERYWHERE. don’t WALK IN THE GRASS YOU WILL STEP IN POOP. NO ONE PICKS IT UP. THEY ALSO USE wood OUT OF THE DUMPSTERS TO FIX THEIR PATIOS. THATS WHY THEIR RANDOM RED PAINTED WOOD IN THE DECKS. I KNOW THEY PULLED IT OUT ID THE DUMPSTER BC I OUT IT IN THE DUMPSTER. THAT WOOD WAS INFESTED WITH Termites. LOOK FOR RED PAINT ON THE PATIO AND KNOW THAT WOOD CAME FROM A DUMPSTER. IF THEY OUR THAT CHEAP TO REPAIR DECKS. IMAGINE HOW CHEAP THE INSIDE REPAIRS OUR. ALSO ONCE A MONTH THEY SPRAY FOR BUGS AND THEY WILL ENTER YOUR APARTMENT WITHOUT PERMISSION. ALSO THE OLD MAINTENANCE WORKS STARE IN WINDOWS. PEPPING TOMS. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE BLACK OUT CURTAINS OTHERWISE THEY WILL SPY ON YOU AND YOUR KIDS."

"DO NOT MOVE IN HERE IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN. There is mold in the window, in the winter the windows and sliding doors literally freeze shut because of poor isolation, the basement floods every month, due to the flooding the washer and dryer sink up your clothes like mildew and sewer, the people here are quite rude including office workers. They expect you to basically hold you kids still if you live on 2nd or 3rd floor because god forbid your children are children during normal hours. Had complaints about my kids being loud throughout the night and day when we weren't even home that entire week and my children go to bed at 8 every night so doesn't add up. When I asked how this could be was told "Well something is going on and it needs to be resolved" and refused to listen me. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere."

"Edit 10/04/22: Oakbrook employees need to remember it is ILLEGAL to enter a unit without notification to the tenant. Is 0 stars an option? Maintenance is not properly completed and certainly not in a timely manner. There are quiet hours, however, management does not hold anyone accountable. Laundry in basement is disgusting and not cost efficient. You’re better off using a laundromat. Would not recommend to anyone. * maintenance will use your bathroom while you’re not there and not flush the toilet. This is the most disgusting place I’ve ever had the misfortune of living."

"We lived here just under a year. We never had any problems with management and the maintenance staff is super polite and professional. Report any issues you have promptly and they will respond accordingly. Sure they aren't luxury apartments but they aren't even half as bad as the other reviews say. Very nice neighbors and a very sweet gentleman comes through multiple times a week to take care of communal areas. We are big online shoppers and would at times have packages outside our door for hours at a time and never once had any issues with people taking them. Overall a good experience for my boyfriend and I."
