"Very difficult to get out of our driveway due to parked cars. Not enough parking. Not insulated well. Elec bill high and we keep it on 68. People driving the wrong way and trouble with another person down the street. Need a dog park and pool for the cost."
"We lived at Hilliard Place for over four years. As other reviewers mentioned, Kelly is great, very professional and she even came to fix our garbage disposal herself once! The complex began to show some signs of deterioration over the years, lots of trash and kids playing unsupervised. But we generally enjoyed our time there. However, the moving out process has been trying. The 45-day move-out notice is frustrating especially when you are attempting to buy a house, sometimes deals fall through or change. We ended up finding a house sooner rather than later and despite being told there was this long waitlist of people wanting to move in, we had to wait out the entirety of the lease even though our house closed 6 weeks prior to our lease being up. Somehow electricity was still being used in our unit (I have the AEP bills) when it was completely vacant and all appliances were off. My assumption is that even though we were still paying the bills and they simply could not let us out of the lease sooner, the turnover process was underway and people were working in the unit prior to lease end. Then we receive a $500 bill upon moving out for new carpet that was already 5 years old and would have needed replaced no matter who was living in the unit, as it is not high quality. Rent was raised like clockwork each year. Keep these things in mind when deciding where to hang your hat!"
"The maintenance guy sent to fix things in my apartment was more of interrogator rather than maintenance man. This same man has a pattern of questioning of how & why things brake down in my apartment. For example: he questioned how key to the front door will not work or how garbage disposal stops functioning. He is always angry anytime he comes to my apartment, he is having difficulty to climb upstairs, he is easily worn out after 1 or 2 pieces of job is completed."
"My husband and I had our last son graduate from Hilliard Bradley High School in May 2021 - We owned a 3000+ sq ft home in Hilliard and sold it that month. Dreading a temporary move into an "Apartment"...we found Hilliard Place "Townhomes". They absolutely feel like a home. We enjoyed the year that we had here because we had plenty of space, three bedrooms and a basement (we placed a king blowup bed) and enjoyed our first family Christmas together in 2 years (We have 5 children/3 Son-Daughter in laws/2 grandchildren). We are thankful for the clean neighborhood and the safe feeling we had. Thank you Kelly and Hilliard Place!"
"Construction is still underway and moving vans are common lately. Parking and drainage are my biggest complaints followed by the difficulty we had obtaining repairs due to faulty installations. The place is coming along and could earn a higher rating once the growing pains have subsided. Love having 3 bedrooms, a garage, and a basement. Updated photo attached. Still need the central mud bath, dust bowl to become a parking lot to stem the current parking woes. Turning the the main drive into a one-way path would also be beneficial. There any many choices in the area and seemingly more each week for your rental budget, if you don’t need a pool, this is worth a look. We are now one way, however, several individuals refuse to follow suit. Parking is improved with marked spots. Bumping my rating to a four."
