Originally built in 1904 by Dr. Walker Gill Wylie, Lake Wylie is the oldest man-made lake on the Catawba River. Today, we continue to harness the power of the lake to create a fresh and modern living experience at The Lakehouse on Wylie.
Our pet-friendly garden-style apartment community offers a range of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans with luxurious features such as walk-in tiled showers, quartz counters, and custom closets. Residents can enjoy community amenities including a resort-style pool, speakeasy, and state-of-the-art fitness center.
With easy access to Charlotte, NC, our apartments provide a lakeside view and access to a variety of dining, shopping, and recreational opportunities. Whether you're seeking a peaceful day on the water or an adventure in the city, The Lakehouse on Wylie offers the perfect balance of southern charm and modern comfort.
Visit us during our office hours Monday-Friday from 9am to 6pm, Saturday from 10am to 5pm, and Sunday from 1pm to 5pm. Don't forget to bring a form of identification for your scheduled tour, and keep an eye out for a reminder email 24 hours in advance. "DO NOT MOVE HERE!! They are RACIST. Especially Samatha Le Pak.They racially profiled me the very first time and did not refund me for my ADMIN fee once they realized I was black. They are racist and DO NOT like black people! Action 9 NEWS will be involved from this point on. It’s been 30 days and they have still yet to refund me but want to email me a fee stating I owe them. Unbelievable. DO NOT MOVE HERE!"
"I love the Lakehouse on Wylie. The apartments are very nice, the amenities are top notch and the staff are excellent. Very friendly and always helpful. The views are great and there are usually deer out at dusk every night. Highly recommended living here."
"I was able to tour Lakehouse on Wylie recently. Lauryn was very helpful during my visit. She is very knowledgeable of the property and surrounding area. It is brand new, which is always a plus for me. The apartments are gorgeous, excited to move in."

"Moved in at the beginning of July and love it! We are in one of the first buildings completed so there is still construction going on but we are so excited to get to be the first to experience everything as it's completed. Most excited to be right on the lake once all the construction is done! My favorite amenity is the partnership with Destination Watersports where you get complimentary access to a paddle board, kayak, or pontoon rental once a month. Make sure you ask for Captain Steve! He took a bunch of residents/staff out on a ride around Lake Wylie a couple of weeks ago! I love all the natural lighting in our apartment and how modern all the finishing touches are. Any time we have needed anything Sebastian has been on top of it! The leasing staff has also been super helpful in answering any questions we've had. This is a great place to live and I'm excited to watch it continue to grow!"
