"My mom and I stayed at the SECU Family house in December 2013 when my dad has surgery at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Mom and I felt very safe here. There was a huge Christmas tree made out of teddy bears that made everyone smile. They had a group come in and sing Christmas music and almost every evening someone was there with meals. Our home is about 3 hours away from the hospital so going home each day was not an option. We really appreciate the SECU Family house and everything they did to make us feel welcome, comfortable and at home. Rooms were clean, the whole facility was very clean, parking lot was very well lit. SECU Family house was just minutes away from the hospital."
