"Such a quaint, lovingly restored inn. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is excellent. They are happy to help you quickly with anything. Food excellent. New Year’s Eve party was well planned and fun!! Absolutely recommend!!!!"

"Staff was excellent. Servers were fantastic at breakfast. Food was great and plenty of it each morning we were there. I didn’t like that parking lot was not lit well at night after dark. A little Erie for the two of us coming later. You Can hear the freeway traffic and both nights we heard sirens/ ambulance multiple times throughout the night. Not a deal breaker but know it’s noisy at times. The house guest overall were very quiet. We stayed in Piedmont room on top floor with our own bathroom. Loved the spacious room. Honestly it could sleep 5-6 people if needed. Food had been left in fridge on arrival from previous guest, but otherwise room was clean. Carpets do have stains but house is older. Linens were fresh and towels were thick and bright white. Gary, made us feel like we had known him for years. Great customer service."

My room was so nice and the bed was very comfortable. I had a nice view and the complimentary breakfast was absolutely scrumptious! I can’t wait to go back!!"

"This is a lovely home steeped in charm and history, which we loved. the location was perfect and easily walkable to dining and nightlife. Kelli did everything to insure our stay was comfortable and was available for any questions (which she answered) and concerns (of which there were none). If traveling or just looking for a lovely place for breakfast or lunch, I recommend the Shaffner highly."

"We found this wonderful Inn listed in " 10 Best Cafes for Brunch." It far exceeded our expectations. It's 1907 Victorian dining room complete with bone china dinnerware, white linen napkins and lilting background music was a time capsule into the past. A ramp made easier entrance for my 94 yr old mother. Food was delicious! Our polite and charming server, Garry, was a doll. 10 stars!"
