"Staff made a huge mix-up with our lodging, so check-in was not easy or efficient. The hotel is absolutely beautiful the rooms are stunning and have an art deco flair.lovely furniture and smart design."

"We had a wonderful time with our 4 and 7 year old girls at the Marriott Renaissance Charlotte South Park Hotel. The American Girl package was better than expected. Hotel was upscale, clean and the staff were all helpful and treated us like royalty. The girls enjoyed being pampered with the American Girl doll beds, robes & slippers and their own pink robes and pink milk & cookies. The girls loved the hotel salt water pool which was warm and also the sauna and fitness center. All were clean and equipment was well-maintained and stocked with plenty of towels and bottled water. The pink bedding was too cute and the beds were very comfortable and room was quiet. The girls even got to pick out a gift from the toy chest and we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast the next morning that was included in the package. Highly recommend Marriott Renaissance and American Girl package."

"This is a lovely hotel in the heart of the SouthPark area of Charlotte. It seems like it has been recently renovated with a modern vibe in the rooms. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms are well appointed too. The Lounge is only so-so with just a pretty basic breakfast and some bag of chips, pretzels, etc. during the day. The staff was friendly too. I would definitely stay here again. I come to this area about once a year and this is by far my favorite hotel in the area."

"It's nice even though it has a few miles. My room is very nice with a clean, glitzy look, and it's spotless; however, I can't cool my room no matter how low I set the thermostat. And there is something funny about the bed sheets. I pulled them off the bed both nights. I'm here for a meeting, and we are meeting in the Monarch Room. It was easy to find, and it's the usual hotel boardroom. But the event staff was very accommodating. It an easy walk to nice restaurants, so that's a plus too. It's okay overall."

"My stay at the Renaissance hotel was pleasant for the most part. The hotel itself was beautiful and well kept. We were allowed early check in as they had a room ready for us, but we did call ahead. It was exactly as pictured on google. In regards to the way it was stocked, there could be improvement. The complimentary body wash was empty, there was no hand soap even in bar form. The remote had weak batteries so everything with the tv was frustrating. Other than these small things, the beds were comfy and the room was clean. As far as the package, the staff didn’t seem to be fully educated on it. Breakfast and restaurant staff especially. When mentioning it, they were confused and so getting the check and leaving was complicated. We get a gift card for shopping per night, when we checked in we had to wait for a manager to issue them and was only given one, we had to request the second one on our last day because it wasn’t given. However, the staff at the desk was willing to help and got it done, she even remembered the late check out and changed our check out time to accommodate the package. Service requests are ignored on the app, but when calling to make them they do so quickly to accommodate them. All in all, we would go back next year if this package is offered again."
