"The location of The Foundry is fantastic. It’s in close proximity to most anything you want to do in Asheville. It’s also a very beautiful hotel. That one can get lost in if you start roaming around. They pretty much require you to use their valet service which is $30 a day. You will receive sparkling champagne upon check-in. We also found that it was problematic to go out late at night as none of the other entries to the hotel worked with our key cards. The mobile key card also did not work for our room or any of the entries into the hotel, so be careful and don’t assume your mobile app will allow you access to your room or in and out of the hotel late at night other than through the main entrance. The room was fairly clean, although we did find a previous tenants sock and earplug. Their pillows leave a lot to be desired, so please bring your own. I laid on everyone the hotel has the offer and they are all horrible. Room service for breakfast is just meh. It’s been my experience that most places fail to bring even a lukewarm breakfast so I guess that’s just the acceptable standard for $17 scrambled eggs. The people are nice, the location is great and I would stay there again. I just wanted to give others a heads up on some things we noticed."
"The hotel was close to the downtown region, close to shopping and food and close to the castle. The service was exceptionally kind and welcoming and the rooms were beautiful and big. The interior was beautiful both in the lobby and rooms and the vast patio outside is great to spend time with friends and family. Even though it was a short stay, it was still one of the best hotels we’ve visited!"
"Amazing hotel! Loved the history of the buildings, how they were integrated into the design of the hotel. Service was impeccable, champagne at check-in, heaters while waiting for valet, complimentary Tesla to take you downtown, and the Lounge has live instrumental music in the evening. The workshop bar creates freshly crafted drinks, very delicious and entertaining to watch. Rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, bathrooms are spacious and modern. Loved the remote controlled blackout curtains."
"What a beautiful hotel. We had an amazing experience, The staff was very friendly, the complimentary champagne was a great addition to our experience. Shout out to the valet guys that work hard in the cold weather to make sure our vehicles are available when we need it. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel. The workshop lounge is a great bar to relax and have great cocktails. The waitress and waiter were really accommodating and made delicious drinks."
"We booked at this hotel as it was rated pretty high and was part of Hilton’s Curio Collection. The hotel is very nice and location is great as it is in downtown and walking distance to a lot of restaurants and art stores and but on a back street so very quiet. The lobby, bar area, the front yard and restaurants are amazing. I rated this 3 because I was very unhappy with the room. We got a room on the first floor, facing t a road and the back of another building. When I asked for a room on a higher floor I was informed they were sold out. For the money I paid to book this room I was definitely disappointed. We decided to check out next day and found another hotel nearby with a higher floor and a great view. My recommendation if you decide to stay at this hotel is do your research on the rooms and pay extra if required to get a room better than the one we got. I felt it was not worth paying the kind of money I paid and get a room like we did. Other than that this is a wonderful hotel. The staff was very courteous and very helpful. They allowed me to check out early."
