"We chose this hotel for a weekend getaway and it was the perfect hotel for downtown Asheville. Our room was nice and clean as was the entire hotel. Staff very pleasant and the valet was super fast. The only negative was our room was towards the back so we could hear the trash pickup early in the morning."
"We loved our stay at Haywood Park Hotel. The room was spotless and smelled great. the rain shower was very relaxing after a long day out. The room is pretty well updated. The valet was quick and efficient. We will definitely come back to Asheville in the future and we will stay at Haywood Park again."
"It was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. We got a corner suite. The room was top-notch. The hotel is Dog friendly. The hotel is in an old department store converted to a hotel, super cool. There are a couple of bar/restaurant's connected to the hotel. One of which was dog friendly. I believe it was called the beer garden. The hotel is right downtown Asheville. The hotel does not have free parking, I'd recommend utilizing their valet services."
"Wow! Reading previous reviews, we would not have chosen this hotel. But it was clearly not our experience! This is a lovely boutique hotel with exceptional hospitality. For price point alone it’s a great value for what you’re getting. Rooms are spacious and clean, with great room designs to actually put you’re belongings neatly away . It’s almost “clutter proof.” And if your an avid traveler… you would appreciate all the additional counter space and roomy bathrooms to place your toiletries and belongings. This place is dog friendly ($50 one time fee) and they provided valet parking(in/out) $19 daily. You just respond “car” and they get you’re car pretty quick, we even came on a holiday weekend!"
"I'll use bullet points to keep it simple. -staff was kind, efficient and friendly...they have to deal with some oddities at this former 1920's department store that appears to have had the last major reno in the 1980's -the entire hotel comes off as rather run down and tired. The couch in our room had visible stains. Decor pillows had pulled threads and wear signs. The bedside table leg was falling off. Dated and worn low end furniture in a colonial style...I would guess came used from another hotel. - housekeeping in guest room was very thorough and very clean. Public spaces also. -location excellent. -each valet parking attendant was nice. The attendant at our arrival had such bad body odor, we had to drive with the windows down for 10 mi minutes. They confused our car/keys with another couple and guest room. That was an issue for a bit -in all, a few million dollars in physical and furniture upgrades would make this hotel a Gem. I would not return in its current state."
