"Great location to downtown, only issue was the street noise on weekend and trauma center being across the street. I can't say enough about the staff, especially Rebecca who worked the night shift, we are up early at 5 am and she is a joy to talk to, very pleasant and helpful. We have had an exceptional 1st time visit here."

"Had to switch rooms 3 times. The first room was not clean at all, the second room's TV didn't work, so the third time - we were finally able to settle in. I don't remember the guy's name who helped us. He was working alone and tried his best to accommodate. He was extremely friendly, but the experience of moving so often was just frustrating. The location seems to be pretty safe and secluded, but there are also a few homeless people nearby who may make it uncomfortable for some, especially since the parking lot is wide open."

"Overall great stay at this hotel. The breakfast had good options. The room was the best part. New and clean. The day staff were great. The check in staff was clear but curt. The area is by the highway and bridge and walking distance to downtown. Stayed with a dog and they could stay with me while eating."

"Newer hotel. Excellent location to walking downtown Asheville. Quiet. Parking can be a bit of a challenge at times. Friendly and welcoming staff. With this being a newer property, the furniture and decor are a bit unique. The couch completely turns into a full size mattered futon. Pleasant surprise! A little on the pricey side but as I’ve stayed in NYC and Chicago at Marriott properties for the same or less but it’s probably what the demand commands. I’d stay again and would recommend."

"FOR THE PARENT OF LITTLES The hotel room is not safe for littles that are in the phase of learning how to walk and/or pulling themselves up onto furniture. My one year old son has started taking a few steps here and there. He likes to pull himself up onto furniture and walk along the sides. While we were staying at this hotel, he scalped himself on the bed. The mattress is set on a solid wood sheet that is about twenty-eight inches off the ground. The wood has not been smoothed down to a curve. It has very sharp edges. Not just at the corners but all the way around the bed. My son took a considerable amount of skin and hair off the top of his head the first night we stayed there. My husband went downstairs to talk to the front desk about some first aid supplies and the dangers that the bed posed. They basically gave him a "what can you do" shrug and started an extensive search for the most basic of supplies. If you have a little, you know that they like to explore their environment. And often times, when you tell them not to do something, they want to do it that much more. So, in an attempt to keep him safe, we tried to say out of the hotel as much as possible for the remainder of our stay. We also took the pillows, bedding and luggage and placed them around the beds to keep him as far away from the edges as possible."
