"If you are Latin, or your level of English is not above average do yourself a favor....stay away from this place...! In just 7 days it is enough to...go home! and to pay for the full course. The instructors don't care about you except that you leave as soon as possible. The recruiter tells you wonders about this place only for you to sign the contract and then it's the opposite, you have been warned. stay away from Schneider."

"What a garbage company. Just like the others said. They ring you down .send text messages and then deny your application. I tried them like 2 years ago for a lease and the manager over the lease company started screaming at me. Glad they are going bankrupt.Recruiter Noel is a joke . She's unproffestional and childish. Stupid company lol"

"If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Schneider offers something different to everyone. For some it is good, for others… well… Schneider offered me the opportunity to lease purchase a new truck, and to book my own loads. The deal was made sweeter with an $8,000 sign-on bonus because I live in the southeast. Sounds awesome right? My new truck wasn’t the truck I placed my deposit on, and it also comes with a hefty $1375 weekly payment. SFI did the old bait & switch! Schneider’s loads coming out of the southeast do not pay anything! Currently, the majority of loads on “my” load board going anywhere pay less than $1.50 per mile. Schneider does an “all-in” rate to hide that they do not offer me fuel surcharge. The $8000 was honored, I was given $1600 each for five months, but if you think that you are going to do something awesome with that money… Fa-get about it! If you are new to trucking, Schneider offers the cold cruel reality of what trucking has become. You don’t have a camera in your face, that might be the only plus. If you are like me, been in the driving game for 12 years and needed a new or another truck to “keep it pushing,” DO NOT COME TO SCHNEIDER! Schneider offered me: Super high weekly payments with 3-year term. Low paying loads, I cannot afford to go home. Lots of deadhead miles reducing your bottom line. No fuel surcharge! The current fuel discount is $.36 at Pilot. Communication is not the best here, hold times are long, or, you wait for a call back. But if you like “drop & hooks,” there are hundreds of them here. But, you often cannot find an empty where you deliver. This may not be your experience with Schneider, but it has been mine. Maybe being a “BCO,” and coming from the “Land” with the big blue “Star” spoiled me. Either way, look before you leap!"

"This company has no concern whatsoever for the communities they serve. I have had to deal with their trucks and drivers in Huntington Beach, CA for months now. They do deliveries and pickups between 1am-5am nightly right behind my home with incredible amounts of noise. I have tried to resolve this with Schneider but they turn a blind eye. Shame on you Schneider for the way your company represents itself in Huntington Beach, CA"

"I enjoyed the training course. Some of the instructors were really nice and friendly. However they are super strict on safety. The tests are all open book and simple, but if you fail a test more than three times they will haul you back to the hotel and ask you to collect your things. It was crazy seeing them do this but I understood why. Simple tests, reasonable reaction. If you do not read or write in English fluently you'll have a problem here. Some of my classmates had a hard time with understanding what was being said and written as well as following along with walkthroughs, some of the staff lost patience and it was obvious. But again, I understand why . Make sure you can read, write, and speak English fairly well before attending this class. Or they will send you packing, sorry to say. I was thankful for the hotel stay they paid for as well as the bus ride to and from their classroom. Free breakfast and lunch was welcomed but not eaten. Not to hate on the free lunch but sometimes they had some awful catered meals that weren't nice. But I did enjoy their snack bar lunches the most. I appreciated the hands on training but when it came to learning with an instructor over the road... That's when I started disliking the training. I was working with a fella who works 14 hour days some days. He gets paid per load where as I was only getting paid 100 or less a day. So that meant I was basically working for 7-8 dollars an hour while my instructor got paid for the loads I delivered. Now yes I get it was training but I still did the work and they had the audacity to pay me less than minimum wage? After my week or two my pay would have gone up to regular pay but man was I disappointed in the training pay. My instructor didn't really drive, hook or unhook. He walked me through what to do but that's about it. He was a nice guy. I decided not to continue with this low paying training course and decided to look elsewhere for work as I was more interested in a home daily schedule. So thanks for the opportunity Schneider but please play better for over the road training. Seemed a bit unfair."
