"Cabin #2 As long as your expectations are realistic, this place is great. I was here when I was a kid, now 20 years later I'm bringing my boys here. The cabins are small, and smell like, well, a cabin. They are not new construction, that's part of the charm. The lake is great. The provided canoes/kayaks are awesome. Kids had a blast on the beach."

"The cleaning crew here is a joke, I was injured working for this company and they did nothing to help me. Broken ankle and out of work for 9+ weeks. The owner of the Heart Lake Resort Katie actually laughed out loud when I reported the injury. I believe a business owner should make sure they employ responsible companies."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Lodge for a family get-a-way. The Lodge provided everything we needed. We enjoyed the kayaks and canoe to be able to enjoy the lake and fishing. The Lodge was roomy and comfortable for a family of 6 for game night and bonfires on near the lake. Great location and accommodations for a weekend with that 'up north' feeling!"

"Unfortunately I'm not allowed to give negative stars. Cabins are in very old condition and a terrible attempt to make them look cute has failed miserably, the doors and windows leak and snow even blew in around kitchen door and melted on kitchen floor, to compliment this the back bedroom heater was not operating and it was 6 degrees outside. Contacted owners and I was told I was doing it wrong that the heater was fine, ( it wasnt). Cabins are packed very close on property without your own personal parking spot for your cabin, parking is an absolute war zone first come first serve, there were vehicles and snowmobiles just randomly parked wherever they felt like. This is a 1 star resort at 5 star pricing. Would not recommend, maybe should consider renaming to Heartbreak cottages because that's how they leave you feeling. Owners give no assistance to your needs and avoid all confrontation."
