"You can tell the rooms are old. The smoke detector is brownish yellow from when the hotel still allowed smoking in the room. The TV is on top of a closet and you have to have the remote held high for it to work. My bathtub plug was broke. The sink drains very slow. Every surface in my room was dusty and for some reason one of the lamps was sticky. The pictures in the room are dusty. The receptionist was very nice but some the cleaning staff is rude. All in all I guess not a bad room for $68 a night through TripAdvisor but I don't think I'd stay here again."

"Stopped for the night before heading home from skiing. Had our kids with us. Had to listen to a corn hole team of grown adults partying on both floors until 3 AM. In the hallway...in the room above us. We heard EVER SINGLE movement. The staff did not care. Another person complained in the morning and the staff did not care. This is the worst hotel visit I have ever had. Shame on you for putting one group of people above the needs of others. I have never felt so disrespected at a hotel. Would give you 0 stars if I could. This is clearly the reason we got such a great price. They just wanted our money, and didn't care about our experience."

"the bad first: -we discovered as soon as we walked in that our light fixture is missing a piece. i figure it's on back order but still doesn't give a good first impression. -we had to fiddle with the phone to get it working. luckily we only had to use it once the whole weekend. -you can really tell that this place has been remodeled a few times. even though it's a functional hotel, there's cracks in the corners, paint peeling. i think this building needs a full makeover. the good: -this place is INCREDIBLY cozy. whoever decided to put a little nook right by the window deserves a raise. it was excellent to decompress here after a full day outdoors. -our service was great all weekend. everyone here was very gracious and helpful. -the location is pretty much perfect for Gaylord. you're within a 5 minute drive of everything in town. and you're a short walk from places like Big Buck, Call of the Wild, and Alpine Chocolate. -the pool was very nice and my group spent at least part of every night there. overall, though it's not perfect, it's good with what matters, and you can book here for under $100 a night -- an increasing rarity these days. if you need to book quick and cheap for an up north stay, consider Baymont."

"Nothing to complain about at all with this hotel. Great price at 80 bucks close to a restaurant, walking distance, clean with great staff interaction at the front desk. pool looks pretty good, but I didn’t use it. Only critique would be the workout room has no weights or dumbbells, cardio only. Would return again when in town for work."

"Stay here for work at least once a month. Room is always clean and staff is always friendly. Room was very comfortable and had all the usual ammenities. The only complaint I have is the bed I slept in recently was not comfortable and felt like it was shot. This was a one time experience as Ive never had an uncomfortable bed besides my last stay. Room 160 bed is ready for replacement."
