"Great newly built hotel in last few years in downtown Gaylord. I love the new smell years later. It's a smell of cleanliness and newly built building. The main areas and the room was exceptionally clean. This is my second stay here. I will be staying again next time I visit Michigan. Consistency is keen when traveling. When I find a hotel that is constant with cleanliness and quality I will always return. Efficiency kitchen is great for longer stays. I really like how they combined the 2 hotels together. It gives long term stayers a larger refrigerator and a stove and microwave. Perfect for a small family on vacation. Rooms had plenty of hangers and even clothes baskets. My suitcases fit perfect on the shelves next to closet. My room had USB ports for charging no need for a cube unless you have a duel Type C. The only downside I could find with the rooms are they do not have smart tvs. This being a newer hotel I would expect the ability to watch Netflix or Hulu. It's a great way for the kids to wind down at the end of the day. I will be bringing my firestick next time I visit. The hotel does offer free WiFi. How cool to be able to put all my dirty laundry right into a clothes basket and take it right down to the laundry room. Washer and dryer on site was very convenient and for $3.25 you can wash and dry your laundry. That's cheap compared to other hotels. Parking is limited at times when the hotel fills up but I parked in the truck with trailer spot one night because all other parking was taken. Breakfast had large variety for all types of morning eaters. Bacon and eggs, waffles, pancakes, bagels, fruit, breakfast bars. Great selection for on the go breakfast. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. I had multiple packages show up and the front desk ensured they got to me even keeping my replacement credit card in their safe until I arrived for check-in. Collin was amazing he is very outgoing guy, always trying to make your stay a little better. Kathy helped to get me a room with easier access to the shower. It really makes showering easier for me for a week to not have to get over the tub. The rooms have a mixture of tubs and showers so if you have a hard time or injured like me it may be best to ask at check in. Location is off the busy main road behind a supermarket. Great spot to shop. The building does run parallel with i75 so one side of the building but I couldn't hear traffic at all at night."
