"Variety and quality are traits I would use to describe the runs and lifts. Did not stay at lodge. Relaxed atmosphere inside the rest stops prices were OK. 4 of us went, 3 beginners, and they had a good time."

"The BEST up-north ski resort in Michigan. The family run spot is very well maintained and has something for everyone. There are great ski runs, amazing tyroll style lodges and incredible staff. The lodge resort has a local White Birch Outfitters location for anything you need to get on the hill! The bars are recently redone and are very nice. The River Cabin is one of my favorite places to hang out in between runs. The staff are great and the drinks are delicious. The lodge offers great buffet breakfasts and dinners. The rooms are cozy, clean, and large. Be sure to put this spot on your list of must-visit resorts."

"This resort is still working out the issues after buying it from the previous owners who seem to have let it get run down. At the Blue Spruce building, the TV and phone didn't work, and there was no lobby area for our group to gather. At fancy dinner they refused to split our bill and gave it to one ski club member. It took 2 hours for them to correct that mistake. Rooms are way over priced for what you get. Snow wasn't quite ready for the season, but that was not under their control. There are many runs once the snow comes in."

"Great resort! We stayed in the Tyrol Building over New Years. The building is most definitely “vintage” but pretty cool vibe. We have 5 in our family and I felt like the room was a nice size. The beds were only full size (which is a bummer) so we ended up getting two roll-away beds which fit just fine in the room. If you are looking for modern, updated, sleek rooms-this is not for you but overall the rooms were functional and worked fine for us. Room came with a mini fridge, no microwave, tiny little individual coffee machine. Food was good at the Duck Blind restaurant-nice to have a good restaurant on site. Everyone was really friendly. Skiing was tough due to Mother Nature not cooperating but hoping to come back and try skiing in better conditions."
