"I traveled all the way from Houston here hoping i could a early check in the lady told me i couldn't check is @3. I told her I'll pay extra because i was tired she said no. So i sat in the car with my daughter. I saw another car pull up. And just so happened my daughter had to go the bathroom. And as im waiting for her to come out. The concierge is checking some one in and its not 3 (white lady and man). Then she proceeds to tell she can check me in after i saw her check them in before 3. The room i was place in had a backdoor be blocked with a chair. I asked for another because i didn't feel safe with me and daughter sleeping here. She said they were booked but no one is there. Time comes to take a shower no hot water. They said i had to turn it a certain way. He came to adjust it but still no hot water. They couldn't put us in another room. Waited to talk to the manager about the issues. I told him his niece was being racist. He got upset and threatened to call the police because of what i said. The entire time im being calm. He told me pack my things and we could go. So we did just that. I didn't get a full refund. But this hotel is nothing like the pictures. Its run down. Needs a lot of improvements"

"My previous experience at this hotel was a positive one. From friendly service at the front desk to being impressed with the layout of my room. (a living/lounge area w/ sofa & television along with a door leading to bedroom). The breakfast was hotel quality food, but I definitely did the job. Several weeks passed, and I found myself back in the area. This time, my visit to Comfort Inn was completely opposite from the first. Staff was not accommodating. The room I stayed in was dirty. The curtains were fixed open and did not close. After staying 3 days, I go to the front desk to extend my stay. However, I am told they have no vacancies and I need to check out immediately. Then, while in the lobby waiting on Lyft, I was asked to sit and wait outside. I have no idea what went wrong. Usually, do not vent after a negative experience, but this was a massive inconvenience. I am at the Extended Stay on Leland and extremely satisfied. Same price, but now I have a full kitchen sync stove microwave in refrigerator."

"The location is great, but the rooms are terrible. The water smells horrible and not recommended for personal hygiene use. The maids are rude, and not very professional. They burst into my room twice eventhough the do not disturb sign was hanging on the door. I also noticed that the staff is extremely suspicious of African Americans as opposed to non-black.They watch every move you make from going to your car to getting breakfast. Eventhough the rooms are horrible, they charge a hundred dollar security deposit upon checking in. If you're looking for price, location over comfort then this is may be an okay choice for you."

"Is there a star below one for this hotel? This has got to be the most filthy, roach infested, dirty hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. The first hotel room we’ve been at had mold on the bathroom ceiling,paint was peeling off the walls,roaches EVERYWHERE!?!? housekeeping nearly bust down the door down and when I complain to the front desk,the man knew about the infestation and offered to move use to another room and they’re only solution is to keep moving you from roach infested room to roach infested room. Every time you ask for the manager the manager is never here. I am definitely reporting this to the health department and I want all of my money back. My daughter left out because of the roaches and slept in the car. This is got to be the worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel, do not come here save YOURSELF!!!!"

"This hotel desperately needs an overhaul…and possibly new management. So while traveling to Savannah, GA, my wife and I decided to book a room in Marietta for one night to break up the drive. My family and I arrived at this hotel a little after 3 a.m. after already being on the road for over 8 hours. Also, it rained pretty heavily the entire drive. So you can imagine how exhausted we all were. We get to the hotel and check in and get to our room. My wife is unhappy because the room is filthy. The fridge was dirty and moldy, the bed covers were stained and filthy…it was unacceptable. So I take the comforter downstairs back to the front desk and ask if they have a clean one. I can’t allow my wife and 2 year old daughter to sleep on this bed. He says they don’t have any additional comforters, but he moves us to a different room just a few doors down. When we get to this room, the same conditions exist, The fridge is a moldy, stinking disaster and the bed is FILTHY. My wife discovers that this bed is also unacceptable…and has just decided that she wants to go to someplace else. It’s almost 4 a.m. at this point. We had a lot of things that we brought in and already moved in the initial check in, and then had to move all of it to another room. I’m exhausted, she’s exhausted, and of course the baby is exhausted, but we grab all of our things and head out. I took one of the pillows with me to the front desk and showed it to the service attendant. I told him that the evidence on this pillow, which was several strains of hair, were proof to me that the bed had not been changed from the previous guest. It had just been made up. I then told him that we were checking out and requested a full refund of my points, since that is how I initially booked the room. He didn’t apologize for any of the inconvenience, AND he did not take the necessary steps to refund my points. I ultimately had to contact Choice to get my points refunded. I caution ANYONE AND EVERYONE if you plan on booking a stay at this hotel. It’s not worth your time or energy. Find someplace else to go. We ended up going to the Double Tree across the street and were able to get a peaceful nights rest. Trust me, this review doesn’t come close to painting the picture of how bad this hotel and experience was. I wish it were possible to give it a negative star rating…because that’s what it deserves."
